  • My 2009 Honda Pilot was roaming all over the road. I took it to the Monro shop in Delaware, OH. They did a complete inspection and recommended new shocks, struts and an alignment. I had priced new shocks and had considered doing it myself. Thank goodness I didn't try it. The pricing was competitive, and now the Pilot handles like it did when it was new. Thanks guys, I will be back.

  • I have used this location many times for oil changes, brakes, etc. and with the past manager had very good communication and service (Bob). I am not happy with the current manager who has been difficult to deal with and communicate with. The latest incident involved a quote for an oil change. I reviewed Goodyear and Walmart web sites and the price on the site was very clear and in the $21 t $23 range. Monroe was not listed or not clearly listed so I called them. The manager told me the price was a special and just under $15. I scheduled my drop off and my family planned our Sat. schedule. When I dropped my vehicle the person told me the price was over $22. I told him I was quoted just under $15. He said that price did not include labor and it cost $6 for labor. When a quote is given I have always been told the bottom line cost, excluding tax, which was not the case with this manager and this location. NEEDLESS TO SAY I DO NOT INTEND TO GO BACK TO A PLACE THAT DOES NOT DEAL AND COMMUNICATE HONESTLY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION DUE TO THE MANAGER. I would not even give this a one star but, I had to to get the system to accept my review.

  • Oil change was was advertised at $14.99 and I payed almost double that. I was charged a "miscellaneous" fee and other things I had never seen before. I also had to replace one of my headlights after the oil change. It worked when I took the car in, and was out when I got home.

  • Called for some pricing. Right off the bat I could tell they weren't knowledgeable with my car, and all they would say is I needed to make an appointment and make the (30 miles each way) trip in there for them to look at. I gave them the benefit since you don't see too many of the G8's and took it in. They spent about an hour - two looking at it, and even after explaining to them that I know my car and availability of its aftermarket parts they still weren't wanting to listen, until they started trying to find them. Waited for at least another 30 minutes for them to finally say yea, we're having a hard time finding an aftermarket exhaust (you know, the same thing I had told them several times at this point). But here's the real winner. Later in the day I finally got a call with the price. They were going to have to order exhaust through dealership (see above remarks, again) of which he continued to say he would order through the Ford dealership. For a Pontiac? Really? Then came the price. I had already checked the dealership cost of the exhaust system- about $1700 cat back. But with the great deal and discounts he was going to give me, it was only $4,700 or right around there, anyway. What a steal! Oh, and they wanted to replace the belt, tensioner, and ball joint I believe. Belt and tensioner are alright, but the front end could use the work so at least that was legit. So for a grand total of over 5 grand, they would do the work! Come on, guys. Really? You want to charge me $3,000 in labor to put an exhaust system on that a novice could do in a couple of hours, and someone who does it for a living should be able to do in about an hour? It comes almost fully assembled for crying out loud. The only upside to the ordeal was that everyone was at least polite. I'd be polite if I was charging someone $1,500 an hour to change their exhaust, too.

  • I would give O stars, but that isn't an option. These guys will convince your wife she needs expensive unnecessary repairs. And then tie the vehicle up for two days while they repair parts that they broke. Not even offering her the less expensive options.

  • After having a bad experience and a follow up call from your rep. I took my other car for oil change at Columbus pike in Delaware, Ohio. It seems that technician has a way not to rotate tire. After pointing to him I was told that my car does not need to rotate. I had to insist to ratate. Now nut is a problem. 2005 and 20114 Camry have the same situation. It seems that I should go to other place.

  • Good shop I get a oil change here every 5000 miles so about 3 to 4 times a year. They check everything over and let me know if somthing needs replaced. They checked a truck out i just bought 2 years ago while doing a iol change i asked them to check it for me and they found it was unsafe to drive it needed a new front end. They are honest and not just all about making a quick buck

  • Mis-diagnosed check engine light. Cost over $500 for repair (over charged for sensors) and check engine light back on a few days later. Free oil change offered with $100 store credit. Wanted to charge another $500 to replace coil pack. Pulled vehicle and took it to dealer. Engine needed de-carbonized to restore compression on cylinder 4.

  • As usual the employees were professional and quick. I was not pleased when I had to ask them why they didn't rotate my tires when it is clearly in the package. Their long answer summed up was that my tires looked good and didn't need it. Ok but I rotate my tires to stay looking good. No offer to take money off for not doing part of the package and I did not have time to stick around and argue. I will probably go back but demand that my tires get rotated up front so not to waste anyone's time. Like I said I felt they were good people, just wrong on this issue

  • Came in for an oil change and was berated about the type of oil my vehicle used. I appreciate them wanting to offer knowledge but to embarrass me was uncalled for. To make me look at the computer screen and be talked to like a child was redicilous and then forced to walk into the dirty shop to look under the hood of my vehicle was unnecessary. The request to go thru my vehicle to get an owners manual pretty much ticked me off and no way would I ever let anyone go into my vehicle especially someone I don't know to rummage thru my things. Luckily my car was up and that was not an option.
