I give them the time frame until I'll be back and they always have it done in time and will always let me know of any other issues they find even though the only expectation I have of them is to change my oil.   • Monro does the oil changes, State inspections, brake repairs, new tires and AC work. This survey is the result of Monro's response when my car had shuddered to a stop with smoke pouring out of the wheel well. Tony immediately evaluated the situation and fitted my car in for repair right then.

  • I have had nothing but positive experiences at the Gates store. The mechanics and the guys working at the desk are super friendly, helpful, and kind. They are great at communicating with me if there is a conflict with my appointment time or an unanticipated issue with my car. They take the time to explain things to me so I can make educated decisions, and they are even willing to lower my car from the lift when I forgot my bag in the trunk :) I feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands, and I can trust that they will do a good job and treat me well.

  • I have been going to this Monro with Tony and Pete for 4 years. Always great service. However my last service was an exhaust system ie: muffler, mid pipe, 2 gaskets hanger. The job was done and I got the bill, over $700.00 dollars. I thought that this was too much so I called Tony and he said to shop around and if the price is lower get it in writing and bring it back. Ok, so I called 4 places, Midas was $200 less, Pep Boys was $230.00 less, Another Monro on w. Henrietta was $300.00 less (told me he was discounting by 50% because he was slow that day). Mr. Tire was $300.00 less. Unbelievable! Your sister Company. I got the written estimate today and brought it to Pete, (Tony wasn't in) Pete saw it was $300 less. He told me to bring it back on Monday when Tony was there and Tony would send it to Corporate for a review under the 30 day low price guarantee. I believe that this is a major inconvenience for me to go through. Not only did I take the time to 1. Call several competitors, 2. Go and get the written estimate and bring it back, 3. be told that I have to wait for the General Manager was there 4. make a second trip back, and 5. have to wait until Corporate reviews until I get the price guarantee. Meanwhile you have my money. This lack of correct competitive pricing in this marketplace in the first place and the hoops that a loyal customer has to go through is not an experience that I will ever subject myself to again in the future. I will bring back the competitive quote and jump through the hoops and pray that I get my refund.

  • I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS, PRIMARY FOR OIL-CHANGES AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE. ON 03/16/17 I NOTICED A SMALL SPOT IN THE SNOW UNDER MY VEHICLE. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED TO GET IT CHECKED OUT, I WAS TOLD THAT MY RADIATOR NEEDED TO BE COMPLETELY REPLACED. I SMELLED COOLANT FOR FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, ON 04/29/17 I RETURNED TO THE SHOP TO HAVE MY OIL CHANGE AND TOLD THE NEW MANAGER CURT WISE ABOUT A NEW DISCOVERY , MY AIR CONDITIONER NO LONGER WORKED. THE AC CONDENSOR WAS DAMAGED WHEN THE RADIATOR WAS INSTALLED. MR. WISE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD MAKE MY VEHICLE RIGHT AGAIN. AND HE DID!!!
