  • Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Went to pick up car and worker said one of the bolts was stripped and they couldn't get the tire off for the tire rotation. I took the car back to where I bought it to have them take care of it. My mechanic said he got the tire off with no problem and did not see any stripped bolts!

  • I bought a set of Yokohama Tornante tires for my Hyundai Elantra at the Ken Towery store in Danville, KY. I went in with tires in mind but not dead set on a certain manufacturer. After talking to your very helpful manager, Berek Bodner, he steered me toward the Yokohama's. There was a good rebate going on and I was thankful for the savings. I needed something for wet roads as my car tends to hydroplane. The ride so far is good and they seem to do good in the rain as well. He was helpful with the rebate offer and also offered other discounts to me that were VERY helpful to my pocketbook. He suggested things I might need but was still pleasant when I declined a couple of them. Due to the service, discounts and additional help with questions, etc. my husband and I will continue to go back to this location for our tire needs. My husband just bought his last set of tires there as well.

  • Our 2003 Honda Pilot began having braking issues and started making noises. The next day I stopped in to see if I could get an appointment at Monro on Beechmont in Anderson. Even though they were short handed, I was able to get an appointment the same day. They called me with a diagnosis & quote after I had dropped it off and were extremely professional throughout the process. The experience was easy and allowed me to quickly get back on the road.

  • I visited store #1206 (Pleasant Ridge Dr., Lexington, KY) on Tuesday, May 16 when the air conditioning in my Corolla suddenly stopped working during the hottest week of the year so far (highs around 90 degrees). I drive back and forth to another town about 30 minutes away for work each day, and it is very uncomfortable to be without air conditioning during my commute. When I first brought the car in on Monday, I had to wait for a few hours while they diagnosed the problem. The guys in the shop (Ed and Ivan, and a manager who was named Ryan, I think?) checked on me every few hours and were extremely friendly and genuinely concerned about me. Worried that I hadn't eaten all day, the manager offered to drive me home, and he did so in his personal vehicle. Meanwhile, Ed worked diligently for hours to figure out the problem, and worked on it right up until closing time, when they finally figured out what part was needed. However, because I needed the car the next day and they wouldn't be able to get the part til then, Ivan had his wife pick me up and give me a ride to the shop, again in her personal vehicle. Everyone was amazingly sweet and went to the ends of the earth to see that I was taken care of. I was kept regularly informed and I never had to worry. Ivan and Ed were so friendly and genuine, and they wanted to see it taken care of as much as I did, and were excited to tell me it was ready. I felt that they genuinely cared. I felt very comfortable with them and trusted them fully, as if I was among friends. When I thanked them, I was told repeatedly and genuinely that that is what they were there for. Excellent, excellent customer service. Will tell all my friends and will definitely return. A world of difference from the dealership, which always feels very impersonal. Thank you for fixing my a/c!
