  • I brought my car in because I had a flat tire. I used the coupon for free flat repair. They repaired it and put the tire on and took the spare off. Also filled my other tires with air. All for free.

  • I have been a customer for many years and this year my experiences at Monroe have not been good. First the lack of professionalism and dirty waiting area had been taken care of from last year and the early part of this year, that was the good news. Then this past August I made an appt. for an oil change and asked my wife to take the car in, I usually do this but had another commitment. I get a phone call from her stating that they have to replace the TPMS Sensor on one of my tire rims as we had been experiencing low tire pressure. I talk to the tech and he informs me it will be around $90 but will give me a 10$ discount. Well the car was there so I agreed. He never told my wife the part had to be ordered and then delivered, she waited over 2 and a half hours before the part even arrived. All total she waited close to 4 hrs for an oil change and sensor replacement. Then when I see the invoice they charged her for balancing 2 tires, $12 bucks, but never informed her that it was needed and if they could do it. Definitely taking advantage of the fact that she is a woman. I also looked at an invoice I had from last year where the local Chrysler dealer replaced a TPMS Sensor and the cost of the part-- $56.90. much cheaper than Monroe. Ridiculous! I am done with Monroe!!

  • I was told someone had canceled my appointment, who I don't know. This is the second time this excuse has been used for my appointment being lost. It makes me think it is a standard excuse when they are overbooked.

  • I asked for an oil change and tire rotation. My paid invoice says that is what I received. My tires were not rotated. Whether the tech thought it was time or not, if I ask for it and I paid for it, then they should be rotated.

  • I make an appointment for Saturday at 815 in the morning for a new tie rod and alignment. I told them there that I won't be able to pick it up until Monday right when they open 730 but call me so I know how much it is. Didn't hear from them at all on Saturday. Go in Monday morning. The guy said 'we didn't get to it and didn't get a chance to call you.' But bring it back today and we will get it done. So stupid me takes it back that night at 530. 'Call me and I'll pick it up when it's done' I tell them after I drop off my keys. I get back at 715 that night and still not looked at or a call. I'm now furious. I tell them that I need it done at 8 the next morning. He agrees to that. I leave there at 820, alignment is NOT done and he tells me to come back and have it finished in 10 minutes. I smile and took it back somewhere else. Never going back there again.

  • 2011 town & country that needed front and rear pad/rotors. Was quoted $650 but because of a nice lady in the waiting are I was able to get it down to $630. Here's the thing they got the parts from advance auto parts. I looked them up, grand total of $260. Meaning they made a profit on me of at least $370. I say at least because I'm sure they probably get a huge markdowns from advance. Also while I was sitting there the employee behind the counter was bragging on the phone about how much money he pulled in for the day to another employee at a store. Only positive was the mechanic who worked on the vehicle.

  • Although the sensor was replaced, it still shows an error on dash. I will make another appointment and they said they would take care of me.

  • I arrived late on a Thursday with a tire going down. They got me in right away and it was determined that the tire could not be saved. They ordered me 2 new tires within minutes and told me to be there Friday morning between 8-8:15AM. When I got there they got me in right away and withing the hour I was on my way home. I was impressed with the willingness to get me in even though I know they were busy....you now have a new customer!!

  • I've been to the West Bend Monroe Muffler/Brake twice now, and both times they got the oil changed within the time frame they had promised. It smells strongly of cigarette smoke in the waiting area, so I just walk to the restaurants near by to wait for my vehicle. The price is pretty darn good for an oil & filter change, tire rotation, tire pressure check, battery and brake inspection.

  • Went in for my oil change appointment and this facility was extremely busy, but they were so quick that the wait didn't take long at all. I was out of there and onto the rest of my day after my short wait. Every time I have gone into this facility for any kind of vehicle service I am always met with friendly staff. Highly recommend Monro.

  • I had an oil change done on my wife's 2012 Toyota Sienna on 01/24/17. The manager was Philip Zingsheim and the Tech was someone with the last name Waterson. These 2 guys were absolutely fantastic. Not being a car person myself they made me feel totally at home. They didn't try to pressure selling things I didn't need and were very honest about everything that was done. Their service was super quick and both guys were a pleasure to just talk with regarding car matters. I've been to a lot of other places to get oil changes done where they treat it like a revolving door of "get in and get out". At no point did I ever feel anything like that at this particular Monro store. These GUYS WERE AWESOME!
