  • My husband goes to there all the time for oil changes, I was in the area shopping with a relative when we got a flat tire, unfortunately the tire couldn't be patched or plugged because the screw was in the side wall of the tire We just wanted to get the car home to let my husband deal with this boy problem because we had Xmas shopping to do, the nice guy blew the tire up and told us to go straight home and that's what we did. For that we are grateful thanks to the guy who helped us out

  • I scheduled a appointment for Sunday am for an Oil Change when they opened. I told person i was speaking to that i would drop off Vehicle Saturday night so that they could start on 1st thing in the am. I called at 11am, they said it would be done in 30 min and that they will call when done. I never got a call back. I called back at 1145am and they said it would be done in about an hour and that they would call me when it was done. I didn't receive a call until 115pm telling me it was done. I get to shop 5 minutes later and I waited 20 minutes in lobby for someone to come to the front desk ! 4 Hours for an oil change and Tire rotation is absurd.

  • How can you perform the alignment in 2 mins? They informed me that the alignment is off and the next minute my car was ready. They charged $69 for alignment and i think i got cheated here.. GoodYear auto service gave me a quite of $279 for 4 kelly edge tires. They dis price match to bring their price from $360 to $279. But they got the compensation in the form of alignment i guess

  • My car failed MA inspection in part due to a repair/part replacement that I tried to have done at another shop on the cheap. I brought it to Monro and they determined/showed me that the other shop had mistakenly installed the part backwards which caused damage to the car and caused the brand new replacement part to fail. So Monro was able to make the repair the right way and only charged me a little more. Lesson learned: don't try to do it on the cheap, or else you may have to pay to have the same repair done twice, or worse. Thank you Monro for being honest and doing things right!

  • John likes stealing my money. Not granting my coupons then breaking ny car to fail inspection twice and has costed me hundreds! He is a bad man!! He thinks people owe him. Very dishonest and now my oil change light came on yesterday and i supposedly had an oil change 49.00 but was charged 110$!!! False advertising as well! And my oil light is already coming on and is empty so that means it was never done and my car is also leaking! Was fine before coming in there and its funny how i took my car to an HONEST business and passed my inspection with flying colors aftrr paying my mechanic dor damages john did to fail the inspection! He is my worse nightmare so keep your coupon because its fake!! Hidden fees also. I will put a stop to this company and its workers stealing from good innocent people. I have also filed a report with the BBB and also filing a case as well in small claims court. I will not let him get away with this and he had the nerve to laugh in my face after failing my second inspection and breaking things that arent broke and destroying people's property! I complained about him twice in the past with previous cars and i see hes still at it! He tried overcharging me 278$ for a 50$ oil change but still ended up Robbing me for $110!! Nice tip i see. And im also going to have my car inspected to see if the oul change i got ripped off for and refused the coupon was even ever really done! And while my car took 3 hours hust to inspect it and oil change? He had alcohol on his breath! Very unprofessional ! Its people like him that make the world a horrible untrusting place to live in! He even refused to print me a receipt

  • I WAS OVERCHARGED BY THE JOHNSTON R.I. STORE. THE COUPON AND QUOTED PRICE WAS $39.00. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $89.99. AFTER ARGUING THEY CHARGED ME $63.43. I PAID IT BECAUSE I SAW IT WAS A LOSING BATTLE TO GET IT TO $39.99 AND THAT I WOULD TAKE IT UP WITH CORPORATE. I CONTACTED AND SPOKE TO CRISTINA WHO REFUNDED ME THE DIFFERENCE.

  • Took out my rear suspension springs and let me leave the shop riding on just the shocks. Not very comfortable and quite dangerous. Had to get home and lift my car up and put the springs back in myself because the mechanic thought they were broken.

  • I asked for an oil change and 4-tire rotation. They did the oil change, but did not perform the tire rotation. I marked one of the tires with a marker, and that tire was still in the same spot when I picked up the car. I suspected they were not performing the tire rotation from previous appointments, that's why I marked a tire.

  • I dropped my car off for a replacement starter without an appointment, and it was done by the end of the day. I am a returning customer, mainly because I do not feel pressured to buy any parts or services that my car doesn't need. The price for the starter and installation was higher than average (if it were a bit lower I would give 5 stars), although the manager gladly accepted a coupon. Will definitely use for future services.

  • Had car serviced for oil change and free tire rotation. Upon cashing out, discovered tires were not rotated. Tires were then rotated. After service, upon returning home, was missing a hubcap due to not properly being fastened. Called and was advised would recieve $5 credit upon next appt. Not at all satisfied, brought car to be properly serviced and instead job was not completed as requested, and more time and money had to be spent to replace parts missing due to inadequate service. Should expect quality service upon bringing auto to facility, but instead encountered frustration and car left requring more service.

  • Found Brake lights not working, informed of steering fluid will need to be changed in the near future and that a tire was wearing uneven which could mean an alignment problem which goes along with the pull to the drivers' side.
