  • After trying to get my breaks (and rotors) by a family member only to be cancelled on o called Monroe. Five minutes later I was dropping off my car and about 1 1/2 - 2 hours later my car was ready! I was given a wonderful deal for the work and parts put into the car. Overall, I was treated like my car problem was just as important to them as it was to me as well as the respect and common courtesy I received personally..needless to say I've found a new garage that I trust fully!!   • I wanted to get my tires rotated and fix the switches panel in the driver's door. They fell into the door and the driver's side front passenger window switch does not bring the window down. I mentioned this problem over the phone. They rotated the tires and put the switches back into place. However, the switch isn't fixed and there is a gap between the panels in the door behind the inside door handle.

We've never had a bad experience, and in fact once or twice have been advised to take our vehicle to the dealership if they thought something might still be under warranty (and thus, free). Ben and Rob are very friendly, and take the time to explain things without talking down to you. They often run good specials, especially on oil changes. I've recommended them often.

  • Stopped in at 6:25PM on Wednesday Nov. 8th excited to see they were open until 7 and to check if they could squeeze me in for a quick oil change. 2 mechanics in the shop standing around (including 1 smoking a cigarette in the shop). I was told that they were not able to get me in and they were scheduling for next week already. There was not even an appology offered. This was not a good impression on the business in my opinion as this was my first time stopping in to a Monro. I do not think I will be back.

I am always accommodated with my appointments despite my tight schedule. They are very flexible with me and friendly every time that I call. Their service is fast and the work is always done right. Ben, the store manager, always goes above-and-beyond to offer exceptional service with a smile and a large reason I will go to Monro for all my future car needs.   • I used to go to Monro in Lansdale when Dave French was there. I trusted that shop and Dave French. I knew that those guys would work until 10pm or later some nights to make sure their customers had their cars. They worked hard and didn't care if people knew. I was loyal to that shop. Since the new manager took over, my one experience with him was so dishonest, underhanded, and my first impression of him was his personal phone call (preparing to sue someone). Moreover, they took over a week to complete the repair and had poor communication. I decided I cannot go back to that shop. I tried the Monro in Souderton. Ben was very helpful and they finished the service in a timely manner. I would go back to them for service. They just need to fix that leaking window in the waiting room.

  • I walked in to the store in the morning around 8:30 and the person at the desk did not even greed me and he asked "what can I do for you?" I asked him can you please remove the nail out of the my tire and put in a plug and his ridiculous response was "can you leave the car with us?" Are you kidding me.....,,,, leaving my car with you to just to take a screw in the tire? I want to next door Luck oil Gas station and they did it less than 10 minutes. If I can give you a Zero star I would them for this kind of service.

  • I usually get good service but this was the exception. I specifically brought the car to Monro because they include tire rotation. Asked for it and it was listed on coupon. Realized later they didn't do it (I mark tires before having work done) Dissapointed and lost time waiting but eventually they put it back in and got it done. I think the guy at the desk just didn't hear me but reason was that they don't do it unless they feel the car needs it. Makes me a little skeptical as to what is or isn't done going forward. Service on other cars was fine.

  • Hi All, I put in an appointment two weeks ahead of time for an oil change and state inspection. I dropped the car off at 9:30 and when I did the man at the front desk threw up his hands and rolled his eyes at me. He was clearly not having a good morning. I called at 1:00 and asked if they were done the car yet. I was told they would start on the car later. 3:30 hours went by and they didn’t start my car?? The car wasn’t finished until 6:00 and they never called I had to call back. I work at 3:00 and couldn’t get to work because my car was tied up at Monroe. My boss understood so no problem there but I just don’t understand the time line. Why should I even make an appointment? They also never reseat my oil monitor in the car that is flashing now. That’s the end of my complaining. I’ve never had a bad experience with the shop in Collegeville but Souderton was very frustrating. Thank you Brian Wiley

  • I had an issue with my front brakes with losing stopping power and a gradual increase of noise coming from my front axle. I took it to my usual mechanic of choice at Monro. Within 2 hours at the end of the day he had a new set of ceramic brakes and rotors on. I continue to be pleased with the service at Monroe.
