  • It took Bryan 6 hours to do a oil change and inspection on my car, I had to call twice to see if it was ready. When I went there to pick my car up, it was still in the shop! I paid for my car and went home. When I got home I realized Bryan never gave me back my registration, then had to go all the way back for it! When I went in there to pick it up I told the manager that my inspection sticker was not even filled out, when the manager approached Bryan, bryan replied that's BS yes I did. When Bryan came to look he realized he was wrong and filled out my sticker. What a waste of my day!!!!!

  • I finally got fed up with one of your competitors next door so I decided to give you guys a try. First, I was astonished to learn that you are open on Sundays. That gives us working folks additional options. I showed up for my appointment for an oil change and was expecting to be there for at least an hour, but to my surprise, I was told that my car was ready in exactly 30 minutes! Looks like I'll be sticking with Monro from now on! PS. The sale price was extremely low and there were no additional surprises or fees.

  • Everytime I go to this store there is a different staff. I was issued a 29.99 oil change card by the store manager Jason Haldeman (who doesn't work there anymore apparently) to use everytime I come here because of my bad experience. Nowhere on the card does it say how many times I can use it, because it was his way of rectifying my negative experience. However, because there is always a new staff they deny me the use of the card. I came in for an oil change today and they told me that I couldn't use the card. When he finally gave me the discount and I asked for it back he told me that it was a one time use card. We went back and forth until he finally gave me the discount card back and told me that he would not honor that discount again if I came back. This is the last time I go to Monro location again. Everytime I go to the Mount Pocono location they have a different staff always looking to argue with me about something.

  • I previously wrote reviews about the improvement noted over the last year. Initially, the Mt. Pocono location was a bit disorganized because of problems with staff retention. However, there has been demonstrated improvement over this time period.

  • The Manager Joe was great he took the time to find a product with in my price range and seemed very knowledgeable. I was so impressed by Joe and the other workers that I would have bought anything they recommended. The created an environment that invokes trust. Keep up the good work. Because of this I recommended several people to Monroe and will continue to as long as the service stay's the same! As for the new tires I bought..... I am not happy they look good but have no traction what so ever. It began to drizzle very light coating of wet on the road and I was driving up a hill I lost traction a few times then while driving I did not feel very safe. I really do worry seeing how winter is coming! I am a cancer patient and need to get to my doctor appointments.

  • On previous visits I was told I needed a whole new exhaust system. I decided to wait due to cost, and made a slight repair myself. In order to get inspection, I decided to try again, and the new manager said I only needed a section of tail pipe. I trust Joe very much.

  • I have been going to Monroe for years, but the service has been slowly deteriorating for some time. The staff are friendly and the work gets completed, but there is no permanent manager to maintain a good stable working environment. The desk is usually unattended and the mechanic staff are not able to answer questions or provide information to the customer. The waiting time is longer because the workers are not 100% trained and I noticed that the temporary manager had to run around and assist everyone. Bottom line - Hire the appropriate people to do the job and pay them well.... I gave Monroe a 3 star rating because they do a good job at a fair price but I am hoping that the higher management can fix the problem at this location.

  • Fantastic service at the Phoenixville, PA store from Jeff Dries and Abe Papp! I was rerouted from Scranton to Philadelphia on a business trip and my husband drove 2 hours to pick me up. He noticed a nail in the right front tire. We still had a 2 hour drive to pick up my car in Scranton and another 1 hour drive home and didn't want to take the chance. Jeff got the car in the shop to see what was going on. There was no screw in the tire, it must have been a broken piece caught in the tread and fell out while driving there. The tires needed to get replaced soon and decided he might as well replace them. They had all 4 mounted and an alignment done in no time. Awesome!

  • as per your diagnosis I put left rear wheel birring. didn't fix problem $400, then was told left reer control arm was needed so I brought car back in. I called for appointment so you could order part. you forgot to order part so appointment was changed to later in the day. $225 and 5 hours later you repaired car

  • The store was unhelpful. Spent two hours fighting with them. Called Corporate, who called the store to make it right. Tire was 4mo old. Came apart while driving. Did not hit anything. Tire just ripped to shreds. Thank you to corporate for making it right. But the store needs better workers. He was rude, cursed, bad mouthed the company.
