  • I have used Monroe for the past few years for everything car related. I even bought my tires from them. I recently had my oil changed and my radiator flushed.. the shop needs more help. We waited over 2 hours for our vehicle to be finished. The guys were doing their best.. the phone was ringing off the hook and the garage was full. No wonder there are different people working there every time I go in.

  • I took my car into Monro back in April to get an oil change for me and my daughter's car, and to ave my car checked out. They informed me that my tie rod and ball joint was broke, but considering they had replace that same part back in 2015 it was still under warrenty so all I had to do was pay for the labor. I dropped my car off so they would have all day to fix it. Went to pick it up the next day and they had never even bothered taking the car into the garage to do the repairs. So I had to sit and wait for them to do the repairs that they should have done the day before. In October my car was acting up, pulling and jerking like it was the last time my tie rod was broke. I took it over to tire discounter first to take a look. I was told that I had an axel broke, needed a new tie rod and ball joint, new struts, new brakes, and new front tires, and alignment. Since they mentioned the tie rod and ball joint, I took it back over to Monro. They replaced the axel, tie rod and ball joint. I picked up the car. MY ABS light was on and the car was still jerking. Needless to say, I have basically have spent a lot of money on new parts where the front of my car is now all brand new. I have been into Monro 4 times and STILL having problems. At this point I am done with Monro and am now going to have to take my car over to another garage and pay to fix Monro's mistake. So frustrated and angry. I would not recommend for anyone to go to Monro.

  • Pricing is quoted for using their credit card. It's in the fine print. Since I made the appointment I didn't go elsewhere. If I didn't need it, I would have gone to someone that is clear on pricing. $10 plus tax is enough discrepancy to go somewhere else

  • Dropped my 2013 Ford Escape off Wed at 5 pm to have brakes/rotors checked. Told Thursday afternoon needed 4 rotors and front brakes. Said would be ready Thursday close at 7pm. Showed up at 7, car not done. Store said would be at least another 45 min to an hour. Store said would call at 8pm. Did not hear. I called Friday morning. Store said short staffed. Would have car done in an hour. No call for rest of day. Saturday morning, still no word on car (again dropped WEDNESDAY). I called store saying I need my car. They have had for almost 3 days for repair work that is their specialty - brakes/rotors. Store said it would be done that day. I said I had to have by noon. Called corporate number to register complaint. Car finally done 1230pm. This store is in bad shape. Only one person doing everything. 3 days for brakes/rotors is unacceptable.

  • I took my car into the Wilmington Ohio location. The service personnel was professional and friendly. They said my back brakes looked good but I needed work on my front. No surprise to me. They did knock the rust off my rear roters. I told them I had a $400 budget for this project and went to see a movie while they did the work. They got the car on the lift and took the wheels off the car. I arrived about 2 hours later and my car was still on the rack. They did not even begin the work. They said they had problems with another vehicle. I could not tell them I would be back later because they had my car on the rack. I was stuck there with no transportation to go anywhere. hours later they finally finished. The parts had a serious markup and way over priced. I did opt for the ceramic brake pads as an upgrade but that should have only added a little to the price. To sum it up they charged me almost the $400 I told them is the max. Over priced parts and captive wait times. Another customer was having problems the same time I was there. She was there after they called to pick up her truck but the truck was not ready after 3 weeks and still not fixed. She waited for over an hour to get her not fixed truck. Bottom line do not visit this location.

  • Took hour and 35 minutes to get an oil change with an appointment. Drain plug was leaking and spent another hour there to get fixed. Have only got oil change at Monroe since bought the car. They tell me it has oversized plug and gasket was leaking.

  • The shop was very busy. Andy was very calm and took his time to see to it that everyone who came in was either given service that day or scheduled an appointment. That shop would greatly benefit from someone at the front desk to schedule appointments and answer the phone. There were only 2 Mechanics there most of the day, a third one arrived about noon. Morse Mechanics would be beneficial. My brakes work great and no more noises when I press on the brake peddle.
