  • Monro has special "Oil Change and More With Conventional Oil" for $14.99 which expires 3/24/12018. The special gets an oil and filter change, free 4-tire rotation, free brake inspection, free battery check, and free tire pressure check. On 3/4/2018, I scheduled a 9:00 AM appointment for 3/10/2018 at Shop #860. I've had multiple vehicles serviced at this location for several years. Thus, I'm saddened to write concerning my disappointment with the "service" I received on 3/10/2018. I dropped off my Dodge Caravan prior to 9:00 AM on 3/10/2018. My wife and I picked up our van around 11:10 AM, which was about an hour after we received a phone call letting us know it was ready for pick up. When picking it up, my wife paid for the $22.77 bill (invoice #88612) via credit card. I noticed the tires had not been rotated. My wife stated "tire rotation" was listed on the invoice as having been done. I asked the attendant (Manager Brian Johnson) why the tires had not been rotated and he stated (stuttering) something to the effect of, rear tires aren't always rotated due to tread depth because the tires with better tread depth are best left on the rear of the vehicle. I informed him I had left my van at Monro in good faith for them to perform the service advertised. He stated they could pull my van into the shop and rotate the tires. I told him I didn't have the time for them to do that, especially since I had left the van at the shop expecting all the offered services to be completed. He apologized for not rotating the tires. I told him fraud was committed since they said and wrote they performed a service which was not actually performed. He apologized again and offered to set up another appointment to rotate the tires on a different day. I told him he should discount by bill since he didn't performed the advertised services. He told me he couldn't do that. I then told him I would contact corporate since he did indeed commit fraud.

  • I went to another shop down the road for 2 years before taking my vehicle to Monro Muffler at 6186 E. Livingston Ave, Reynoldsburg OH. Every time I would take my vehicle to this other shop the wait time would drastically increase, until the last time I waited 4 hours onsite for a minor repair. I decided then to look for other shops in the area and came across Monro. For an oil change, tire rotation, and filter replacement it took this shop less than 30 minutes. The other place I went would take at least an hour, so this made me extremely happy. Also, when I was waiting for my oil to be changed a man walked in who did not schedule an appointment. He expected to have his car in before mine because he was "in a hurry". The manager onsite, Kevin McFarland, told this man that I had an appointment and that his time was not more valuable than mine. He then said that he could get the vehicle in by the end of the day, but that he had another appointment scheduled within the next half hour and he would not inconvenience that person either by making them wait for this man's car to be repaired. I am extremely impressed by the loyalty that this team showed and will be using this store for all future repairs.

  • Kevin is not an honest man! I brought my car here because this location has always got my cars together and where honest about what I needed serviced. this past experience I have had was the absolute worst! I had my TPMS senor replaced in one of my tires which Per kevin was broken when he took the tire off which when I took my car in for service I had no warning lights on so I agreed and paid to have it replace along with new tires and oil change he told me that once I had driven my car a few miles the tire pressure light would go off.....well it never did and when I took my car back to have my tune up and the light fixed again he told me that it had nothing to do with the tpms he just changed it was another tire and would I like it fixed. I took my car to another dealer and the told me that the senor that was not working was the same one I had just replaced and how they knew was the rest were factory and this was the only on different.... he refuses to fix it and now I'm calling corporate! so if he lied about that what else did he lie about..... several warning lights have come on since he has touched my vehicle and I want my car fixed correctly

  • Employee was very rude. He was upset because I didn’t have 1000 on the spot to fix my brakes. I said I didn’t have it and i would be back when i could afford it. Then he proceeded to say that no I wasn’t that i was going to find someone cheaper and when i come back for a oil change they would see all new parts. Well guess what im never going back to this location.

  • I was very upset by the fact that the shop manager said he didn't want to do my oil change because he only made .8 cents from it because of my corporate coupon for a 16.99 oil change and tire rotation. This is very wrong! And embarrassing for the customer especially coming from the manager. He acted as if it was a fake coupon and it was not! I received it in my email from your company! They even tried to make me get a more expensive oil package which I declined but still sad they are that money hungry. Plus they didn't even reset my oil change light after they were done, after this service I may not be back.

  • My husband was in Monroe to get an oil change and happened to overhear a conversation between an elder woman and the manager of Monro's. She was telling him how she had taken her fairly new car into the mechanic for a lighting problem and they told her it was going to cost over $1500. to fix the problem! So she brought it to Monro's for a second opinion. The mechanic asked her again to relay the complete story, he then went and got his manager and they told the woman that she was being taken and that the problem was not that serious or warranted that much money. They advised her what to do and then helped her report the incident to the proper authorities and bring the dishonest place into the light! After hearing the conversation in detail and seeing how Monro was willing to help this woman, he decided he had found the right place to trust our car too and we've been going there ever since!
