  • Went in for oil change. Also was recommended to get new battery, which I did. Oil change was done fast which I like. What I did not like was that they had to call one of their suppliers to bring in new battery which was fine. It took that supplier approximately 45 minutes to bring the battery to the shop. There was no inclement weather that day. That is a ridiculous amount of time to wait to bring a battery. I could have went down the street to auto zone to pick one up and bring it back for them to install. And then for my long wait, I asked about discount for that long wait. Only got $20 off seems like small amount for my time. I do like going to this location because i see the same mechanics each time which is good, but after this experience I may have to take my business elsewhere.

  • The guys at the Hilliard-Rome location in Columbus, OH are awesome. I came in the door 35 minutes before closing thinking I would have to leave the car overnight. They quickly evaluated the problem and stayed 20 minutes late to take care if it. Thank you! I'll be back.

  • I arrived on time and had my car taken inside promptly.The tech was friendly and seemed professional. While I waited ,I saw the tech spend quite a lot of time on his cell phone,in the service area.A customer came in to waiting area and waited for about 8 minutes or so and when no one came inside got back in his car and left. My car was finished in about 30 min. I paid and left. Upon getting home I noticed that they had not put the sticker in my window. Apparently they also failed to check the tire pressure because the low tire indicator light was still on.A good price and good service isn't worth much if they do not do a good job.

  • This location offers $9.99 standard oil changes which is an unheard of deal and I was thrilled when the technician told me about it! Customer service was good (much improved from the past times I have visited this location). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I had made an appointment for 9:15 and mentioned that my mom was picking me up so I could run errands with her so I may not have been back the exact time it was finished. When I returned at 2:00pm my car hadnt even been started on...I think it was a misunderstand but I was still frustrated. Nonetheless, the friendly technician made up for it and called me as soon as my car was finished.

  • The guys at his shop are great! I was sure I was taking my car in for nothing and they would tell me I was just a silly woman who needed some common sense. However, even when (at first) they couldn’t find the problem they treated me with respect and courtesy. They did find the problem shortly after and gave me three options on how to fix it, to accommodate any budget I needed it to fix. And, to fix it, it ended up even cheaper than they had anticipated. Overall, they were wonderful and I am so glad that they are my mechanic shop.

  • Came in for a flat tire. The gentleman behind the counter seemed annoyed that I was coming in and he didn't really have time for me. He said he had to get it on the board and wanted my information but since I hadn't been there before but my daughter had he just said I will put it under her name. They pulled my car in and looked at the tire. He then came and told me he couldn't repair it and tried to sell me a new tire. I asked how much and he replies do you want road hazard warranty. I replied depends how much the tire is? He rudely said that's what I'm trying to find out for you. So I declined and he told me the price. I decided a new tire and asked for them to put the spare tire on. I can help take the stuff out. He said no it's ok. Then went to tell the other workers to put on the spare. He then came back and rudely said I a lot of stuff in the back that they have to move to get to the spare and it will take a while. They put the spare on and let me leave.

  • I've visited multiple Monro locations throughout the state of Ohio (Delaware, Worthington/Westerville, Athens, and Hilliard), as I've moved several times over the past few years. Regardless of where I'm living, I count on Monro for honest and reliable service, covering everything from a simple oil change and tire rotation to replacing the brakes on my car. The folks at Monro do an excellent job of explaining their suggestions in layman's terms, including noting which suggestions require immediate attention and which I should consider for the near future, and are always friendly and helpful. I've always walked away satisfied with the service I received!

  • Oil change, rotation and tire patch. Took 1 hour 15 mins. No other cars being worked on and 3 techs in the shop plus the manager, Kevin. Scratched the rims. 3-4 inch scratches, gouge marks and chips in the rim from the socket. Most with metal shavings that were still attached to the scratches. Kevin said that i would have my charges refunded for the oil because of the time it took and the fact that the rims were torn up and I have yet to see that refund. $48.24 When can I expect that? The rims were replaced. That was the lone bright spot. However they were improperly balanced and is undriveable at 65 mph. Kevin was irritated to deal with me when I brought the car in to get the rims put on. Huffed around when I asked him to see the rims. Did not give an invoice for the replacement of the rims. Just threw the keys on the counter and said "there you go". I made a point to say thank you twice to get a proper response and still didn't look up at me. Like all this was my fault. What a joke.

  • Oil change, tire rotation, and patch tire. 1 hour and 15 mins with no other cars being worked on. Destroyed my rims with rub marks, gouges, and 3-4 inch scratches. and did replace them. That was a plus. Oil plug came undone and leaked out 1 and 1/2 quarts. Tightened and replace oil myself. I have pictures if you would like to see. Replaced rims and I'm not sure if they even tried to balance them. The car shakes violently at 65 mph. Hope the replacement rims aren't bent. Very curt short answers for me when kevin replaced the rims. He was visibally irritated to talk to me. Was a poor experience from start to finish.

  • Hour and a half for an oil change and my car was the only one in the shop. Only when I started showing signs of irritation did the manager go check on my car. Tech brought my car out and there was huge scratches down the rims, gouges, and scratches and chips from the socket and air gun. I tightenednit up and added 1 1/2 quarts of oil to fill it up. Now the car does have replaced rims but they failed to balance the tires properly and you can't hardly drive it at 65mph.   • Made an appointment. They "fell behind" which I am usually understanding of. However since I decided to walk to the store down the street they decided to push someone ahead of me. No reimbursement or price cuts. No apology other than from the mechanic stating "sorry your car may smell like oil, I spilled some in there." This has been our second poor experience here and will probably not return, only good thing is the price.

  • I went in for an oil change and an estimate to fix my muffler because the tail pipe was disconnected from the muffler. They could have charged me hundreds for a replacement, but they were honest and said it just needed new gaskets and they could drill out the old bolts and re-bolt it together. Well, that turned out to be much more difficult than expected and they had to stay an hour passed closing time. They did so with good attitudes and treated me so well. Not going anywhere else in the future.

  • I booked an appointment here so my wife could get my oil changed on her day off. While there, the employee running the store was extremely rude. He ignored her upon her entrance, watched a movie on his phone while she waited, ate a meatball sub, and even clipped his fingernails in front of her. I was extremely angry with his disrespect towards the love of my life, so I left a very terrible review with the store. A day later the manager called and apologized profusely, stating this employee was no longer with the store. He then offered to change my windshield wipers and air filter, free of charge to make up for the blatant disrespect showed by the former employee. He really made up for the terrible experience with great customer service. We will definitely go back to this auto center since the new manager is so focused on running the store with respect.
