  • Stopped going to Firestone years ago and found this wonderful shop. Have taken my car and SUV there for years and they have been really fair with pricing and what needs to be done. Mike is awesome, friendly and customer focused. Advising on what needs to be done for safety and able to work out what needs to be done now, and next, etc on what might be coming up as I work on a budget even with the drive card. I just got my SUV back today and not pleased with the alignment and want to follow-up tomorrow. The have always been honest and good to work with. This is the first time I have left really not satisfied, but will reach out for feedback. Countless repairs, tires, oil changes, service, etc.. and only twice have I had any complaints.

This location was very professional, they also had a special going for oil changes so that was a plus. Michel went over and beyond with explaining the type of oil my car used and why it was important to continue to use the same oil. I was very happy with the service and will come back again.

  • My car is aging, so repairs have been necessary more often than I'd like. Thankfully, Monroe Muffler on Park Rd. in Worthington makes the process a little less painful than it could be each time I take it in. This time, store manager Mike helped me get my car into the shop when the brake line rusted through, saving me a tow and giving me peace of mind. He kept me updated through the process and gave me a very timely assessment of the issue and the repair was completed within the day. Every time my car needs a repair or routine maintenance, I feel like the folks at this location give me a straightforward assessment that I can rely on and trust.

  • You hear it all the time, it's just the way of the trade, finding a mechanic is a game of trust. I went to this location because it's right behind my house and, being new to the area, I wanted a local mechanic that I could trust to continuously bring my vehicle to for regular maintenance, repairs, etc. I find it best to stick with one place, because they can log everything that's ever been done to my vehicle. The gentleman behind the counter was kind, was clearly very busy. Offered to sell me brake pads for $200 a pair including labor. $400 for 4 breakpads. This blew me away, seeing as I can get 4 quality pads for $60 myself (and Im kicking myself for not walking out). I showed him a coupon that I had gotten in the mail offering 2 break pads for $99 including labor. At first he said this didn't include labor so it would be $99 for the pads and $100 for labor. I called the next nearest monroe store and was told that the $99 deal DID include labor cost. I brought this to his attention and he confirmed it with the neighboring store. He then said that the break pads that were $99 were the lowest of the low in terms of quality and that he wouldn't trust to install those for anyone, that they would only last 6,000 miles, and don't come with lifetime warranty. I decided to go with the $200 break pads for the lifetime warranty and also asked him to look at my wheel shaking problem. I wasn't sure if it was an alignment problem, or a bad tire. He recommended that I get an alignment for $100 ($150?). After all was said and done, he mentioned that the tire had a broken belt that was causing the shaking but the alignment should help until I get a new tire. Needless to say, my still wobbling steering wheel and I left the lot with 2 new breaks and $360 less. These experiences are exactly why I will always avoid chain shops here on out. For those of us who are ignorant to the inner workings of these machines, its a huge negative to feel "took".

  • Unfortunately I had a flat tire from hitting a pot hole. Monroe is one of the only auto services that are open on Sundays. I was able to drop my tire off in the morning and have the technician evaluate the damage to my tire. My tire had a hole in the side wall and needed to be replaced. Mike was able to order the same tire that I had on my car and have it ready to put on my car after work on Tuesday. He encouraged me to contact the city regarding the pot hole and seeing if they would cover any of the damage

  • I Brought my vehicle in for an oil Change last week, not only did they change my oil for a reasonable price, but they also inspected my vehicle which I was told there were other parts on my vehicle should be replaced and was given a suggestion to replace now on some parts that were most needed and could come back later to replace the other parts.   • Apparently there is a new manger at the store I use(d) and they have inherited my problem but it should still be noted that I have bee royally screwed here. THEIR mechanic broke my door handle on November 7th and, after REPEATED attempts, to get this rectified, I have continually been given the run around. I frequented Monroe on a regular basis (every 3-4 months) for oil changes and other services, have convinced family members to start going here, and have always talk good about this store...until now. To be treated as I have and to be screwed over as I have is not only poor customer service but a BIG mistake business wise. I am still, 9 weeks later, without a door handle and am taking my car elsewhere to get it fixed. The lack of care shown is completely unacceptable.

  • I have went for service in August and January. This is the first time I tried monro service. In August My engine light is coming on and off, I said the same and tood them to find the issue to fix it. I have been diagnosed with fuel system cleaning and wiper blade change. I wont use much my car for commuting. Still it is coming on and off, it wasnt fixed and when i asked them they said bring as soon as engine light is ON, we will fix it. Again when i came in january for engine light on, they said like my fuel tank is leaking. I doubt this leak was happened during august service while doing my fuel tank cleaning. Also just to identify the issue for engine light code scan they took 110$. My wiper blades which were replaced as new in august also not working. They got messed up my car in all ways just for trying them

  • I have been going to this Monro service center for about two years or so. The first thing that caught my eye was the sign in front of the store showing Oil Change for 14.99. After taking my car there for a couple oil changes i decided to also take the company vans in for service there as well. Rob has done a great job getting me in, making sure i have a ride back to work, and taking care of whatever is needed. I have gone to him for tire repair, oil changes, new tires, alignments, windshield wipers, etc. I really feel like i get great service!!!

  • This review is related to an oil change appointment. I had a scheduled oil change appt ahead of time to limit the length of my appointment. When I checked in, I was told it would take 45min- 1 hour. I ended up leaving the shop after being there for close to 2 hours (for an oil change and tire rotation). Then when I went to check out, the total was $15 more than I was told it would be. When I inquired about it I was told there was an oil dispensing fee and taxes (both of which I expected and are typical of all oil changes), but also a $9.95 "shop fee" to cover the expendable products used during the process. Ive never had this charge anywhere else, nor was I quoted it when I checked in. Thankfully they waived the fee after I protested, but the whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be returning

  • I have used Monro a few times, and the latest experience I had was probably the worst. I dropped off the car just for an oil change, and the gentleman at the front counter said 30-45 minutes until completion. GREAT! So I went back an hour later to give them plenty of time, and as I was walking back to Monro, I received a call of things that were wrong. I was a little peeved it took that long. I understand it takes time, but COMMUNICATE that at the beginning. The man on the phone told me a few things wrong with my car beyond the oil change, and half them were incorrect. I guess he was new and he read the wrong information, but it definitely gave me a heart attack. I'm glad that I was aware of all the repairs I recently had, or I could have potentially "fixed" something that didn't need fixed. When I went back to pick up my car after just the oil change, I spoke to a different man at the front counter. He was extremely nice and assured me that I did not need the repairs I was originally told. I'm not sure if I'll return. I'd almost rather spend the extra money to go to a Honda dealership so things can be detected correctly. For the price, this place can't be beat.

  • The experience at the store was beyond my expectations. The staff were very helpful & courteous. I was shown what was wrong with the brakes on my car, was given very simple explanation of what needed to be fixed immediately and what I could live with for a bit. They even showed me the bad parts and how they were damaging in such a way that a layman like me could totally understand. I was given two separate estimates - one that included the absolute must-haves, and the other one that included the good-to-haves too. Finally, there was one part that they didn't have in stock and they went above & beyond by trying multiple distributors to get the part on the same day and get the job done on the same day! I had really anticipated a long wait and a hassle; but they made the whole process very smooth. I will remember this store for all of my future car-repair needs.

  • Rob and his team at the Park Road location are world class! My daughters car wouldn't move in any gear. She was caught in an intersection and scared. We got the vehicle towed over to our local Monro location on Park Road. I called Rob and let him know the car was on the way. This was a Saturday evening. I checked in on Sunday (Rob was out) so they weren't able to look at it on Sunday. On Monday they got the diagnosis done and let me know they could fix it. As I inquired on timing due to having to secure a rental Rob assured me they could get it done THAT DAY - they would stay late if they had too to avoid the rental. So.........I canceled the rental agreement for the next day, I checked in with Rob at closing and they said they were getting close to finishing and that they would call me when they were done to come and pick it up. 30 mins later he called and we had the car back!!!!! You don't find that kind of service that much these days. Especially the willingness to stay to get the job done!!! As far as I am concerned Rob has/continues to earn my business.
