  • Had a nasty metal squeal in the right front area of my Dodge Dakota .. I stopped at Monro / Whipple & Fulton Rds in Canton Ohio. They put it on a rack and found the passenger side ball joint was bad and ready to come apart.. I made an appt for the next morning and took it back. They finished it in the time they told me complete with front end alignment . All is good and I'm a happy customer.

  • The men at Whipple and Fulton Rock , not only did I get great service but they saved me a lot of money!! I am so great full to these guys, the original place I took my truck to wanted over $1,000 to fix my breaks and made claims I needed more done to my truck. These men at Monroes said I only needed front breaks redone that's it!! They saved me money, I can't stress that enough!! God Bless you guys and Merry Christmas!!!

  • I got a battery report that says I need to replace my battery. Went to get a 2nd opinion and the exact same testing system tested with lower numbers but said the battery was "good" . I got replacement wipers and they suck also.

  • I don't appreciate the manager attempting to sell me everything but a new car. Had I done everything (which he implied I needed I would have left $5,000 with monro. I needed new tires - said that I wold wait til sept and he assured me they would not last that long. I know the difference between a BAD tire and one that needs replaced soon. I don't like being (attempted) sold me a bill of goods I may be a woman but I have a brain! I won't be back to Monro.

  • I came into the Monro on whipple and was greeted by the manager. I had my postcard with me for 14.99, he said that's only good if you apply for the credit card, scam.............. Don't try to fool me by your small marketing deception on the postcard that lures customer (ex) into the store and then they feel obligated to fill out your application or spend 24.95 for the 14.99 oil change. So here's the skinny, I have six vehicles and I use Monro for all my maintenance, not anymore. Whoever came up with the marketing approach, failed........

  • Was quoted over the phone $30.99 plus fees and taxes for my truck which I gave year, model and engine. Was Charged $40+. Also they suggested to add balancing tires at additional charge with rotation. Would have added $10 more dollars. Add outside said Oil change, filter and tire rotation for $24.99..................not happy with upcharges

  • I would give them a 3 for looking at my car and letting me know whats wrong, yet the price they were asking to fix was RIDICULOUS! $800, for parts and labor.. i just bought parts for $76 and will fix it myself for free. I dont understand how you get away with charging as much as you do..unbelievable.

  • I came in because of a hole in the muffler, and it said of trying to fix it cost effectively they recommended to replace the entire system. On a pointed out a white pipe could be replaced instead of an entire system he said no it was not possible even after two other shops told me they could do it. When I told him that he grudgingly went to his book and found some y pipes that could work in the application. Even then he just tried to dismiss me so I would leave. I found another shop that could weld the hole closed for $40 instead of $1,000 that this guy was trying to charge me. While he's trying to make more money for the company he lost a long-term customer potential.

I had a bad experience at another location; the one on Market Ave. They overfilled the oil crankcase; and really failed that simple task.   • I've brought my car in a few times now to this location and they have always been kind and quick. This last time I just needed a 5,000 mile increment check-up, no oil change, but they made sure to double check that the oil change wasn't needed...reading the manual...to make sure to comply with my car's warranty. They also got me a quote on tires which was very reasonable, and they weren't pushy with it. The waiting area is a simple set-up but I don't need anything fancy.

  • When I got my oil changed, I received great customer service. Quality work in a timely manor, I was in and out and on with my day. With an oil change comes tired rotation. I was told my tires had equal wear and did not need rotated at this time. As the mechanic may have been right, I still would have liked them to be rotated anyways. But, no biggie.

I came in just to get it checked out. matt was so kind. he told me I had a slow leak and when I asked if it needed to be taken care of immediately he suggested that I should get it taken it care of as soon as possible. I thanked him and drove down whipple and said to myself " this is ridiculous. i could hurt myself to someone else. " so I went back and asked matt if he had time for me and he said he would see to it immediately. he found a bubble on the tire and I asked him to replace both rear tires. if he had used high sales pressure I would have dug in my heels and gone elsewhere. but he was low-key and respectful. I will gladly return to Monroe for all my tire needs, you folks have a good man there.
