  • I had no breaks and I was an hour from my house. The manager of the store, Don Ramo, got me in and out in less than 30 minutes. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. I'm so glad I stopped there. He even rinsed off the old brake fluid.

  • They used to be fantastic but I'll never go back. What started out with a quote of just a couple hundred dollars to repair emergency break lines somehow became a quote for $1600. On top of that they stated the tires all needed to be replaced too. When we said thanks for the quote but we found somewhere less expensive the snarky response was "I doubt that". With a nasty tone, he even suggested that we pay for a hour of labor for just looking at the vehicle. Never again Monroe!!!!

  • Made appointment a week in advance and dropped truck off prior to opening on morning of appointment. When I returned at 5:00 PM found out that it had not yet even been looked at. Did receive a call close to 7:00 PM giving description of work needed. Reluctantly let them keep vehicle for next day. Again returned at end of day to find out vehicle had not been completed. Had to take it back 2 days later so they could finish it. I have no complaint with the work itself, once it was performed, but am very disappointed in the delays- especially when having scheduled in advance.

  • We brought our car there for an alignment after replacing ball joints on the car. Two professional mechanics went through the car before bringing it to Monro. We asked they examine the front end again, align the car, rotate the tires and balance. The car has new Tires and Brakes already on it. After the alignment was completed the Monroe mechanic said he couldn't see anything else wrong in the front another car and got the alignment close. He told us to drive the car and bring it back if we didn't like the way it felt. We brought the car to our normal mechanic for a routine oil change and inspection the day afterwards. When driving the car to him we noticed the car pulling to the right abnormally. We asked him to reexamine the car and He didn't see anything else mechanically wrong with the car and inspected it. We advised him if he did see anything to go ahead and fix it. We called Munro back and asked for an appointment to get the car realigned. Monro told us to bring a car at 4 today. We got there at 3:30 to drop off the car and the technician Anthony told us we weren't supposed to be there until 6 in an unfriendly tone. We advised him the appointment was for 4. The car went in about 4:15 and the mechanic tried to realllign a car three more times. During the three hours I was waiting Anthony told many customers about problems in the shop and people being fired. I heard him discussing with somebody about another fight he got into with a customer earlier that day which resulted in a customer going into the garage and driving a vehicle out without anybody's consent. I cannot attest to that situation but I do not believe that it is professional for him to be discussing that in front of a room full of customers. They renamed my wife from Attle to cattle on receipt. I dropped the car off at their competitor that night and said I want a four wheel alignment and let me know if he needs anything. It was done with no up sales and no problems. I want my money back Munro.

  • if you are looking for a shop run with ethics and integrity, then you want Don, in Fulton NY. I was seen in the past by an individual that lied to me about my truck repairs and did not even due what he said. Don not only explained what was and was not in need of repairs. His pricing was more then fair. He listened to all my concerns. took me out in the shop and helped me understand what was needed. As a family medical provider, I am not the best at mechanical things. but I know I can trust Don, and I will continue to take my truck and my family's cars to this man

  • We got new snow tires from you guys and didn’t even make it to work the next day and the tire shredded. I called and they said we must have run over a nail and we have to bring the tire in. I had to call for a tow and get it towed to the nearest shop and they said we didn’t run anything over. I called monro to see if they would take care of the tow fee and I got the run around and different answers each time I called. The next day we brought in the tire and there was nothing ran over by the tire. I was told they would take care of it and take care of the tow fee And to come back at four when the new tire gets there. At three thirty they called and said they weren’t taking care of the tow fee and they want 85 dollars to fix the tire that they messed up in the first place... that’s very poor business. They said we needed roadside hazzads or something.... I was mever offered this when I got the tires... didn’t even make it 20 miles and you want me to buy ANOTHER tire?!?! Very very very poor business... this is going on my social media for sure. I called customer service the day before and they told me they would take care of all of this if there was nothing showing that we ran something over. Finally the guy called back and said the district manager decided he would take care of the tire but not the tow fee. Hahahaha make up your minds... just poor business because I was going there for anything with our cars and I was about to buy snow tires for my jeep and I got a quote from them the same day I got the snow tires for my fiancé’s car.

  • I'm giving one star because I cannot give zero. They don't check their work to make sure they've fixed the issue before giving you your car back. The so called "brake experts" couldn't complete my brake job after having the car for more than 1.5 days. Was told I would get a refund for service that they didn't follow through with. Horrible service all around. There are other, better options. I would never trust them with my vehicle again. This is not the first time they have been a let down.

  • Treated very poorly - had a very generic question about a valve stem - ended the conversation hanging up on the person at the front desk from being unbelievably unhelpful impatient and rude. I called Mavis 2 mins down the road they quoted me for the same thing 1/4 of what monro did. When I called I got the impression I was bothering them. Dont worry Ill take my business someplace else and you all should too. I dont have time to be spoken to rudely and neither do you.
