  • The employees were awesome and I already knew the guy who did the work on my vehicle from a previous garage we used to go to, so I trust him to do the work on my car. The only downside was the ridiculously overpriced parts. When comparing the prices to those of parts we could buy on our own (in store or online) the parts were easily 3 times as expensive at Monroe. The cost of labor was ok.

For the 1st time ever, a mechanic, not the manager or service desk employee, a mechanic, took the time to shake my hand and tell me that they appreciated my business. I don't recall the mechanic's name, however, I'm sure Art knows.

  • My family has a small auto repair business, but we're often too busy to make the time for regular maintenance like oil changes. Monro's online appointment service makes scheduling these types of services easy. I've used several different oil change shops over the years and find that Monro offers the best value by far. They are certainly not the fastest option for an oil change, but that's because the service is the most thorough. They always take the time to look over the vehicle and point out any concerns. With a busy family of six, we often don't take the time to do that and they have caught several issues for us before they became serious. These guys treat their customers with respect and care about quality, which is why I will keep coming back!

  • I have taken my vehicles here exclusively for about seven years (since I moved to the area). As a single woman, I always worry that I am getting ripped off when I take my car to the shop - Not here! They only fix parts that actually need fixing, and if they say they fixed it, they really did. They have never tried to up-sell me on any products or services, and they always give me the coupon discounts even if I don't have the coupon. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and it's always a positive experience.

  • Paid for 8 quart synthetic blend oil change and tire rotation and the only thing I'm sure that I got was a new oil filter. The tires weren't rotated so I'm not even sure if they changed my oil. This is not my first time that I took a vehicle in for the same services and the tires were not rotated so I am well aware of the locations of my tires on the vehicle before it is left for service.

  • I took my car here after being told by a different garage that I needed part of my exhaust welded, something that garage didn't do. I got to Monro and Art greeted me saying the other garage had called ahead and they were full for the day, but he could have a look really quick. After putting my car on the lift, he showed me the cause of the horribly loud noise I brought my car in for, and it wasn't even the cause the other garage told me. He ended up being able to squeeze me in and have my car ready about an hour later for significantly less than what I was expecting to pay for a new part and labor. Art was also very friendly and easy to talk to, and even though it sounded like he had been working a full day without a lunch break, he had a smile on his face and was joking with customers and referring to them by name. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had getting work done on my car and I'm so glad I can hear myself think again when I drive.

  • The service and the manager were great. but it's hard to believe that he told me he had only one tire in my size of 225 65 18. a store t hat size has to stock more t han one tire that size. sorry, I don't buy it. he wanted to sell me an expensive goodyear tire. I only need one to get by on, cause I had a flat, and had 3 other studded tires on my car. I would have settled for a run of the mill snow tire, but that was NOT THE CASE.
