  • My husband and I have been going to Monro since we moved to the NH seacoast 7 years ago. What I like most is when I go in for an oil change, I pay for an oil change and am not told that I have hundreds, or sometimes thousands of dollars worth of work to do on my car, like you would at a dealer. A couple of times ago however when I went in for an oil change I asked them if they rotated my tires, which I like done every time since I had tire issues before and was reimbursed for new ones since I had had rotations each oil change. They had not done them, even though the coupon I brought it said that they rotated the tires. The gentleman working said, "we'll do it next time". I should have asked that they get the car back up on the lift and rotate them because yesterday when I went in for my next oil change and I asked them to make sure they rotated them, they told me that my tires were just on the cusp of not being able to rotate because of the tread. I told them that the tires were only two years old and I had asked the gentleman the time before to rotate them. They said, "well he's gone mainly for that reason, and if he had rotated them, you would have had another rotation out of them and longer time". I'm thankful that the other gentleman is no longer there, but was sad when the next words out of their mouth was, "but we can sell you buy 3 get 1 free tires". OK. Then I told them that I had a squealing and my power steering was going. They looked at it and said that I needed a new belt. I told them that I had recently gotten a new belt (which the other gentleman recommended and put in). When they looked at it again they told me that there were 2 belts in there and that he had replaced the wrong one. Guess what? You got it. They can fix that by putting in a new belt. I do realize that it was the other gentleman's issues, as they could clearly see as well but I don't think they handled it very well to make it right.

  • I have been a Monro customer for many years and have always received great customer service. However, at a recent oil change appointment I asked if they could please check my tires because the dashboard indicator light had been on for a few days. I was shocked when the technician told me there would be a $15.00 charge to re-set the dashboard light. Doesn't the dashboard light automatically re-set after the tires are re-filled?? This has raised some concerns and is making me second-guess continuing to use Monro's services.

  • Had a strange noise with my breaks investigated and eventually fixed. Originally they called me and thought it was a different issue but after describing it again they took the car for another drive and found the issue. They fixed it for roughly half the cost of the first place I got it estimated at.

  • I've taken all my families cars to Stratham Monro for 20+ years. I've been extremely disappointed, and ripped off by the people running Monro after Mark. No one is perfect, but I know Mark will treat me fairly. I sure can't say that for the others.

  • I have been using monro in Stratham for at least 10 years. A couple of years ago when Mark the manager was on leave we had major work done and they never tightened the fuel pump they installed. When Mark returned he found issue in 5 min and fixed it The other day we went in with an appointment to have our cars inspected. We were there on time. They should have opened a half hour earlier No one there. A young man who worked there but did not have a key was very nice and apologized profusely but nothing he could do. I hope they pay him for the time he sat in his car We waited 45 min and no one showed up. It was going on 9 oclock and they still were not open. We left made appt. With another munro. They were great but their reviews are not that great either. We will give him and his girlfriend the benefit of doubt. I will conclude that when we dealt all those years with Mark Busch we were extremely pleased. He was honest and very personable. I know he has gone to Danvers ma store and if we hadn't needed state inspections we would have gone there. We will also maybe drive there to have maintenance on our cars.

  • came in and told need brake job in front , would like downgrade on cost but told me just that one time, and asked them to check on the brake job in past , found it on their cpu system and no could not explain it clear and could not get half of my new tie-rod ,must buy full . told me should be ready by 2 after leaving off overnight but checked them just before leaving home will be ready at 4 pm. requesting to save old tie rod for reviewing. said sure will do it. when got there pay for it got almost maxed out becuase of costs and asked them did you get my tierod . they even did not looked for first place waited half hour .. zippo sitting taking long break claimed they couldnt find it i shoud gone to Sullivan across the street
