  • I bought tires from an outside buyer but I was able to get them delivered to a Monro Muffler location for free. I ordered the tires and they were delivered to the MM location on the same day. Although this was incredibly convenient, the best part was that I was able to call and get my new tires installed that same day. It was such a big help since I needed new tires ASAP.

  • Last Friday, during a snow storm, II walked into the Merrimack site, without an appointment, and they were able to take care of me right away. In addition, they performed a inspection and found a mouse nest in my cabin filter, a filthy air filer and my battery was at reduced capacity, 300 amps and in no condition to get me through the upcoming cold snap. Even though the waiting room was full, with a couple of people needing tires, they were willing to take on the additional work. They were nice, patient and very professional. This was my first visit to this facility and will not be the last.

  • I had an oil change performed at a price that was about half of what other mechanics would charge. They also brought to my attention that I needed a new cabin filter. They showed me the cabin filter and I couldn't believe how dirty it was. Again, I felt I received a fair price for the cabin filter. I requested a quote for front brakes and they gave me a detailed quote that was easy to read. I would definitely recommend the Monro shop in Merrimack, NH to anyone who is looking for automotive service. They sure beat any dealership in terms of value and they deliver just as good services.

  • So Monro fixed my van's rusted through flex pipe section of the exhaust in my Kia at a great price ($250) but then they failed my van for the NH safety inspection and actually put down on the estimate things like a $400 headlamp (I could not find any defect in this thing except for the fact that it had pulled away from the gasket), a $350 tail lamp assembly (ok, there was a small crack in it, but I can get the same thing on ebay for $90), and a $1000 rack and pinion steering assembly because it was leaking. Sheesh. But, the staff was wicked friendly and even offered to drive me to my job after I dropped off the van.

  • I have brought all my cars to this Monro location since college. Ive since moved away to Hillsborough NH but I still drive an hour back to this garage every time I need an oil change. Nobody else does as good a job, it is that simple. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone I know of that needs car service of any kind. They are accommodating, personable, easy to talk to, honest. They show me what is concerning them and why, they help me to work out the best strategy to get the work done. They have gone above and beyond for me again and again. You will have 100% of my business for life. David Devine is the best garage manager I have ever done business with.

  • Was told I needed new a/c condenser. Tech put in a/c compressor instead, then said I needed new a/c line and gaskets. Cost of a/c compressor $534.75. Munro refuses to reimburse me for wrong part. They put in new a/c condenser at additional cost of $642.49. Customer service doesn't serve the customer for stupidity of their workers.

  • Was told I needed new a/c condenser. They put in a/c compressor. Then, they said I needed a/c compressor to radiator line. Didn't find out they never put in a/c condenser. Total cost $1,366.18. Now cust service says I needed all parts. No refund???? Just another example of putting in parts that are not needed. DO NOT GO THERE. Poor work done at store 0839 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

  • As they have always done, the staff in Merrimack NH have provided quality service in a timely manner. While I was waiting for my vehicle, a woman brought in a car she had recently purchased for a state inspection. She was a single mom and had bought the car from a "friend" for her teenage daughter. When the car was placed on the lift it became obvious there was no way the car would pass inspection, and was in fact unsafe. The woman was visibly upset, and was crying as she received the news. The Manager of the Monro location was excellent with this poor woman. He was compassionate and offered advice and sympathy, and then refused to charge the woman. He should be commended for how he handled this unfortunate situation.

  • I was hunting around for someone to help me as my regular service provider totally let me down on service , cost and what was needed. I called this location (Merrimack, NH) and spoke with the Manager, David Devine and he was right up front with me, very personable and very willing to work with me and the availability was excellent! They have now gained a new and returning customer for all of my and my family's auto needs.They are professional, do outstanding work and have great customer service skills.   • I had scheduled my car for an oil change and a brake caliper job after being recommended to do so after a recent state inspection. Upon inspecting the car at Monro the manager informed me that my brake calipers were fine and just had some rust build up. They cleaned off the rust free of charge and changed my oil and I was on my way. I am sharing this because it is very rare in the auto industry that mechanics are so honest and turn away work when the car is performing as expected. They easily could have influenced me that I needed my brake calipers done, however, in being so up front and honest they have gained a customer for life. Thank you Manager Dave.

  • I only came in because of the sign outside offering $14.99 oil change. I entered, only to discover that was only for a certain kind of cardholder but I was already there so I let them do the oil change anyway and requested that they not rotate my tires, which they complied with. I was also extremely upset to discover an employee driving my car on a "test drive" which upon my addressing of the issue witth the employee, I was told was "company policy". Since when does an oil change need a test drive? I was not informed of this, and I am very very unhappy with that situation.No one drives my car. Especially a stranger with out my permission or knowledge. The employee, Tim, who was at the counter, was wonderful, however. He was helpful and patient and pleasant, he is an asset to your company.

  • 4/24/2017 I paid $1599.99 in repairs for severe engine problems resulting from random misfire. 6/27/2017,less than 2000 miles later, I pointed out the problem was still there. The manager told me they would take a cursory look at it but the mechanic who had done the work was not there any more, it had been fixed, and there was no reason why it should not work. It runs like _. I will take a cursory look at why I would ever do business there again.

  • I had a terrible, horrible, bad luck day on 5/22. Upon my arrival for my oil change at Monro, I managed to lock my keys in the car. Yes, things like this can still happen regardless of all the technology we are wired with. Dave was my hero. He first tried to "break in" himself with no success but then called AAA on his own behalf. They were able to open the door successfully. If Dave did not make the call, I'd be SOL for several hours. I truly appreciate his assistance and will be loyal to him and Monro forever. Please share this with him-he deserves a bonus.

  • I had an emergency situation where I lost my brake fluid on the weekend, and my regular garage was closed. David at the Monro ,location in Merrimack, NH, was so accommodating in getting my truck in right away, driving me home, giving me a reasonable estimate within and hour, and having the brake lines/hoses replaced within several hours. He did not go above the estimated cost, even though I am sure they spent more time on the repair than they originally thought. He picked me up when it was ready, too, as I did not have a ride.

  • I wasn't thrilled that I had to wait until I had to go in the shop to find out that the tires I wanted on the buy 3 get one free would not fit my car. I was under the impression since they accepted the appointment they hadn't them for my car so, I had to spend 100.00 more than I wanted. The tiredness hat were offered to me they asked 150.00 each for them Andy I said know but they came down to 100.00 each but later I found out that the tire at another's place was 112.00 so not sure why he said 150.00 to start with? The oil change went fine and they said I needed an alignment as well.

He even called me and told me that I could hold off on some work for the time being because it didn't need to be done right then. I feel like any other mechanic would have just done the extra work and collected more money, but his honesty sold me right away, and I've been coming back because of that as well as the quality of work they do.
