  • Recently brought my vehicle in for a power steering pump and an engine mount. I always schedule for late in the day (4:15) so that I can stop in for the work on my way home from work. I will often drop the vehicle and cross the highway to grab something to eat while they work on it. I was able to leave my cell phone number so they could call me in the event they weren't going to be able to finish that night (they couldn't and they did). So I was not stuck in Pittsfield for the night.

  • This is the second time in a row that I questioned the pricing and was told I was given a bigger discount than the Monroe Mailer Offer. This time I had the card to read the fine print. While the manager MAY have been correct that the $16.66 discount given was more than the $10 offered with the Monroe Credit Card I was still overcharged. My oil change was not reflective of the $14.99 + $10.00 for premium oil. My oil change was $47.49 less $16.66 or $30.83. Not a significant difference but annoying. I feel as though I was flim-flammed.

  • On a Sunday I called and rescheduled an oil change on Monday for Thursday. Your rep was extremely friendly and supposedly took care of the schedule change as well as updating my vehicle information in your system (deleting all my previous cars). I showed up Thursday but I had no appointment??? Your manager apologized and insisted I return on Friday for a free oil change ... Which is great Customer Service on his part.. It just would have been nice to have it done when it was scheduled since I had to move things around on my schedule...

  • your employee at the Pittsfield Store in MA Snipped my headlights. and ruined my horn when he cut whatever wires he cut. my horn no longer works and i had to go and buy the same wiring that your man just put in my dodge ram. i spent 300 dollars and 4 hours rewiring the shotty job your employee did.

  • I always come in for my oil changes on my Pacifica and I never leave unhappy. Whoever ends up taking my car in is always nice and respectful and very well mannered. I wish I got the name of the last guy I came in contact with there, he was so nice and gave me a lot of advice on selling my car, which we had talked about, and told me that if I had any other questions while car shopping that I could always call and ask which I thought was super nice!

  • I was informed by your shop guy that the last time I had an oil change the wrong oil was put into my car....they didn't use full synthetic but a mix.....he said it's critical that I only use synthetic oil but when I asked him about any problems not using synmthetic oil would cause he said "oh well it's okay every once in awhile" WHAT talk about back talking all the way. Then I ask another guy who said my car was all done if they rotated my tires and he said he couldn't!!!! Said the car was out of alignment.....I took it to an alignment specialist and it was not out of alignment. So they rotated my tires for me. Guess who is never coming back to your place and sharing with friends and family to stay away.....ME

  • I would like to take the liberty of tipping my hat and beyond to the crew at monroe.Mike and his crew are absolutley amazing.The fuel pump control module blew due to my wife driving through a deep puddle during a rain storm. (absolutley love my ladie) but it happened,the crew at monroe went to as well as through amazing feats to get my truck running again.They new exactly what they were doing and informed me of exactly what the problem was.

  • These guys are great. I showed up for my oil change appointment a few minutes early. They greeted me with a warm smile and I proceeded to tell them about a noise coming from my rear tire area. They took my car right in and changed the oil and straightened out the dust plate that was causing the noise. I needed a few other things done which they told me about & quoted a price before doing anything. They are so awesome there.. Thats why I brought them some Munchkins from Dunkin Donuts!!

  • I went to Monroe for a tire swap, oil change, wipers, small maintaince things. I had made an appointment for 4:00 but ended up getting out of work early and arrived at 3:30. The attendant took my car right in early, had himself and another guy working together to get it done faster for me. They had me in and out in just about half hour. I wasn't even in a rush but it was nice not to have to wait long as usually happens at other places. This is my second time at Monroe and both times were excellent. The guys that worked on my car were friendly, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need - which has happened when I've gone to Mavis tire before right across the street. Needless to say, I will definitely be going again for anything my car needs. ??

  • I took my car in for an appointment to have my winter wheels (tires and rims) replaced with my all season wheels, and have the oil changed. My car was promptly brought in the shop to have this done. I was happy to have been informed that the car needed an alignment which I approved to have it completed. It took 2 hours from when my car was brought into the garage, until they gave it back to me. This is not something that should have taken this long. It did not appear to me that the employees were working very efficiently and I spent far too long waiting in the front desk area than I needed to.

  • Was able to get in right away and get my truck looked at, was a little displeased the alignment I had just gotten done was not in the system and had to repay for the same thing twice that was under warranty, but otherwise the general manager Mike was a good wholesome guy that was quick courteous and didn't snowball any issues. Will definitely return with my wife's truck that needs work and again if mine does in the future!

  • On thursday feb 23,2017 i went in to my local monroe muffler shop where i usually go bc i wont dare let anyone else touch my truck, but i was greeted by kurt (wonderful gentleman) who informed me as i pulled in that my driverside rear break light was blown out. i step out chuckling at the fact bc i was there originally to get alot of maintanence done on my truck so i humorously responded to him with " well,you guys can fix that too" but to no avail i wound up repairing it myself that same night bc my appointment wasnt until the next day to get the maintanence done on my truck which really wasnt a problem at all. But...To get to the point the following day when i arrived at my scheduled appointment time the service was absolutley outstanding. Not sure if i can display names on here but kurt and matt you guys were put on this earth to ever so do exactly what it is that you do.As these guys worked on my truck we talked and laughed about random things as well as the guys being informative as to what everything was and why it needed to be repaired.The mechanical lessons were mindblowing guys.Thanks. when my truck was done, it drove just like it did the day i purchased it...Words cannot explain how knowledgable and professional these guys are at they're craft.A HUGE THANK YOU TO MATT AND KURT AT MONROE MUFFLER FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL SERVICE...I RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO GO CHECK OUT MONROE MUFFLER FOR YOUR VEHICLE NEEDS AND OR REPAIR.   • Whenever I go to the Monro on Cheshire Rd in Pittsfield, Kurt and Matt are always very helpful and accommodating. They are always willing to take me into the shop to show me what is being done to my car and what the issues are. They always try to find me the lowest price (VERY appreciated). My only issues is getting them to call me back. Usually, they say they will call with more information on my car but end up getting caught up with other things and I have to call them.

  • Wait was quite long for service promised @ 2PM. Another Monroe location stripped my lug nuts when putting in new tires last month and tech team was not able to rotate tires for me. Upon returning home after service, brakes were NOT responsive, and made a lot of "sticking noise". After calling from my home shortly after to report brake issue, I was told to return the next day for a promised repair of brakes, tech was again not able to repair until new lug nuts were received this Thursday, so again I must leave work and return again for service of "tire rotation, brake repair on Thursday. I am quite frustrated w/ my "oil change" this time.

  • I was in need of a quick oil change and my usual garage could not squeeze me in due to my time request. I was able to make an online appointment at Munro for the same afternoon. I appreciate the ease of online appointments and the availability was great! However, I had a coupon for a $14.95 oil change which I was unable to use. Your salesperson talked me into a higher quality oil (don't know that it was truly needed) with an accompanying price hike. Then, after the oil change was complete, he told me I needed several hundred dollars in additional services. I'm fairly certain that my usual garage would have noted at least some of these items at my last oil change. This, naturally, makes me suspicious. I have heard from others that Munro is not always scrupulous in this regard. I will try to plan ahead better in the future in order to use my usual, and much trusted, garage for all maintenance and repairs.
