  • would go to Monroe muffler for my car needs from now on...the staff are very friendly and knowledgable and care about your car and explain what they will be doing to take care of it as well as show u what theyre goin to do to your car....I like the fact that the prices are way lower than dealership prices as well as local competitors and that they have a life time warranty and that their is no charge for mounting of tires whereas other dealers charge u for that, not that I had that done...I had an alignment done as well as put new wipers.....so overall service was a 5 star....and the front man at the desk (his name is don) is very nice...the district manager (josh) was there too and was also nice...everybody there is nice...

  • your manager was very nice to talk to. I had a 44.95 coupon off your home page. I was scammed and tricked by your company for the last time. 44.99 with 2.59 filter + 9.99% service charge does NOT ADD UP TO 68.30 Not the money, but the principal is poor and I am tired of the whole thing.

  • I bought tires on my own and Monro was great enough to put them on for me. I tires came out great. I did have an appointment set for 9am and my car wasn't taken into the shop until 10am which was very frustrating.

  • I came in for an oil change 12/18. The place was so busy with customers wanting work on their cars before Christmas. There was one mechanic working and they were overbooked. Considering those circumstances, I was seen for my appointment in a relatively good amount of time. Katie at the front desk greeted me and explained to me the report back on my car. I needed a new battery as well and they were able to quickly put that in on the same day!

  • Munro allows me the option of buying my own parts and bringing them. They do the work and only charge me for the labor. This has worked in the past, but this time it didn't. The parts supplier provided the wrong parts the first time. Munro went to install them and "Say buddy, these aren't the right parts." So I took em back and they replaced them. Guess what happened the second time? Right. Wrong parts again. I was in one heck of a hurry cause I had an appointment that I had to make so "Dylan," the store manager went way above and beyond the call of duty and told me he'd go to the parts supplier and take care of that end while I ran home and got ready for my appointment. I got back to Munro and it took about 15 minutes more and I was on my way. I made my appointment too! Good guys here who really saved my butt.

  • I received a $10 coupon for my last review which was a nice gesture, thank you. I went to use it for an oil change and it was very difficult to figure out what the price was supposed to be. $14.99 see mgr for details said the sign out on the ground in front of the store. I get it. Get a credit card get $10 off. I wasn't offered a credit card application. The sign above the first bay door said $19.99 the make believe mgr said regularly $29.99 so that's the price I got minus my $10 coupon plus $3.95 shop fees. So I paid $22 and some change for my $10 off oil change because of some fast talking uncaring if I ever come back service.

  • The oil change and tire rotation were timely and professionally completed. The service writer was NOT trained to take an application for the "Monro Drive Card credit card in order to process a coupon for a discounted oil change. I was charged the full rate for the service. This necessitated a call to corporate for reimbursement. Corporate customer service responded with a $10 gift card for future use. I do not believe this resulted in making me whole had the coupon been processed at the service location. It would had definately cost a couple of dollars less. Maybe customer service should have given two $10 gift cards for this fiasco.

  • Utilized the $17.99 Oil Change offer, I would have given 5 stars except that, for topping up of fluids they said they will charge $5 more. They did not ask me for tire rotation, I assumed they would charge extra. I know some of the other chains like this do all this for $19.99. Anyways I am OK for what I paid, so no different than anywhere else who charge $35 for full service Oil change.

  • Set an appointment for oil change and brake work and was told I had to make an appointment for brake work after they changed my oil. How farking stupid are you? Last time I MADE AN APPOINTMENT for 8am I had to wait for half an hour for someone to show up at 8:30. THe problems at Monroe are systemwide and I just give up and will never come back. Just felt like you needed to know although I'm sure you already do.

On one visit for routine maintenance, they fixed my loose front bumper for no charge and without me asking. It's been fine ever since.

  • Visited store 354 for brake replacement service on the front and rear axle on my Toyota Corolla. The service was completed in a timely manner but the front brakes started making some odd "drumming" sound on the same day. It kept getting louder by the day and 5 days later took the car back for re-check. The manager and other technician visually inspected all the brakes and the job that was done without taking apart the brakes. After 1 hour of inspection, the manager tries to CONVINCE me that the problem is with the front axle and that is the cause of the noise. There was literally no problem with the car before the brake job was done. So I kept insisting to the manager that if he could take apart all the brakes and redo the whole job. The manager would NOT listen to me and told me that it would cost extra for this new work. REALLY REALLY FRUSTRATED at this point. I call the Monro customer service to file a complaint. After few minutes with the customer service agent, she recommended me to visit another Monro store (#437) in the next town. Took the car right away to this other store and I'm pleasantly greeted by the store manager who said every technician is out on lunch break. But he attended the car right away himself and took apart all the brakes. Re-install everything back "correctly" and the problem sound was gone. So overall a mix experience but ended on a good note. Kudos to customer service agent and store 437 for understanding and helping to resolve the issue.

  • I brought my CRV in for a oil change. I did say oil change when I went in however I did see that I was paying for tire rotation and battery and brake inspection which is included in the package price. Well the oil change was performed and then my car was pulled out of the service bay. I ask if the tire rotation was done. I was told no, because I only asked for an oil change. If your going to charge for all of the above services then these services should be done or at least discounted when there is only an oil change. I asked the service man to take it back into the bay an at least rotate the tires, which he did, but nothing more.
