  • Good job and price for oil change. Things that are not good is service manager told me that they will look at what you tell them to look for,At 60000k manufacture recommends things need to be look at and I am not sure if it was done. Service manage told me everything looks good. The only paper work I got back is invoice for oil change and what brake life I have. Does not show if the other items was looked at.

  • Monro bought this location from another owner in June 2017 to the best of my knowledge. The previous owner had been storing my wheels and tires, but they were not found when I arranged for a swap for the winter. For six weeks I made phone calls and a couple in-person visits to the location in an attempt to motivate personnel to locate the wheels and tires. I had been told that they were looking and would call me with updates on the progress. In the six weeks I received no phone calls, emails, or any other form of communication from any personnel. Finally I called the corporate office and they looked into the matter. Within 15 minutes I got a call from the location and they had located my tires and wheels. At this point, they did not have lug-nuts that fit my studs and I had to wait another two weeks to get my wheels on. After a snow storm and the inability to travel for work or personnel business, I became quite frustrated. I am inclined to believe that the manager of the location lied directly to me when telling me that he had just tried to call me on one occasion as I looked at his monitor after asking what phone number he had called and a single digit was highlighted blue (indicating recent editing) and changed. My area code is 360 and I suspect he had changed the '3' to an '8' before turning the monitor for me to see. I cannot prove this though, and it is only speculation. Once the parts had been located, the work was done well; though I have never been this frustrated in any dealing with a business in my life.

  • Pro:Had new tires put on my truck. Quick and fast in / out service. Con; service tech said he will throw in a free alignment with the purchase of four tires. I did not look at invoice when I paid, called them back and asked why I did not received my alignment , tech said he never said that, but will do a alignment check.

  • I brought my vehicle for an oil change and one of the employees was kind enough to drive me to work! They did a safety inspection and pointed out some problems I would need to be fixed in the near future but they didn't push me to get the work done immediately, which is what most places in my experience have done. For a $20 oil change, you can't beat Monro! Will be going there again in the next 3,000 miles because I know it will be quick, easy, and without any headaches!

  • Conveniently located and the staff is nice enough. Still, I feel like there are always additional charges/extra stuff that is added on to the end of the already substantial transaction ($900+) EVERY single time we go here. $30 here and there adds up, but this is pretty typical of most auto shops in my experience.

  • The tires are great! The customer service, not so much. When I arrived, I was notified that there was a mix up and that the tires that were set aside for my car were given to someone else. Then they had to find tires, which resulted in a longer wait for me. At the end, I showed them the email I received when I signed up for an appointment only. It had estimated tires to be $270 something and they were trying to charge me $700. That's crazy in my eyes. The icing on the cake was the employees attitudes. Honestly wouldn't return here!!!

  • Dropped my truck off at 745 am for tire rotation and oil change. 1145 still no phone call saying truck is ready. Head over there and my truck is sitting in the parking lot finished. Would have been nice to have a phone call saying it was ready instead of sitting there wasting my day. Oil leaking out of bottom of engine compartment upon returning home. They didn't clean all the oil out of the engine bay. Made a mess over my driveway.

  • I have been a customer for 6yrs at Tires and Brakes, now Munro muffler and brake. I have always been treated with respect, never been taken for a "ride". On 6/16/17 I went to the shop on 252 Flanders Rd, Niantic, CT to have an A/C cut off kit installed on my 2004 GMC Envoy, after making arrangements prior for this install that would take an hour and 15 mins tops. I made the appointment on 6/15/17 and arrived at the scheduled time on 6/16. Upon my arrival Danielle Kolasuk drove my vehicle into the shop and then stated "you do know this is a 2hr job, right?" I replied it would take only an hour. She looked over at Chris, he nodded, she made a face then went into the shop slamming the door. Shortly after that a delivery was being made of new chairs and Chris stated to the delivery person "I'll be right with you", two seconds later Danielle very rudely said "Chris, can you take care of this guy?" It appears Danielle has an attitude about something, not sure what but what I am sure of is I do not want to look for another shop to do repairs on my vehicle!! Chris and his staff have always been very honest with me and that is what I want, not someone who thinks she's going to hoodwink me into 2hrs of labor, which by the way, is way too much with the $20 increase!! Please address this issue with Danielle, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Paula M Phillips Evans
