  • As soon as I picked up my car, I immediately felt the difference as I was driving with the new shocks. The ride feels so much better....does not feel as loose....also has a different feel of a lean with my car now compared to before I had this done. I have a lifetime warranty with these new shocks which is definitely a plus!!!!!!!! The ride is much tighter and I actually feel like I am higher up than I really am even though my car is not built to be raised that high up.....but that is definitely something that I am satisfied with. I received excellent service & the manager was very nice & helpful with me which was good also. Monro gave me the best rate for me to get my shocks done.....absolutely the best quality out there for me. I would recommend anyone to get their shocks done here!!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!!!!! Not only your money's worth, but also knowing that your money was spent right because shocks are just another part of maintenance on your car. I made the right decision by getting new back shocks here instead of waiting longer still driving around with worn out, slow leaking, loose back shocks. Now I will have so much more fun driving!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever I come here I know I will leave satisfied, with all my car cares resolved and without any concerns about being sold anything I didn't need.   • I went for an exhaust issue. My car was really loud because the connection between the exhaust pipe and catalytic converter had broken apart. They diagnosed it in 20 mins (great). Told me what the issue was and gave me two options to fix the problem. I chose the least expensive. Which was to weld the peices together because it's an older car and it's getting close to being on its last leg. And putting an $1800 exhaust system didn't make much sense. They told me it would take 30 mins to fix and it did. However my issue is that they charged $200 in labor for a job that took 30 mins. Even if you include the time to diagnose that's still under an hour. I'm one to pay for work that is done so I didn't argue it. But when I thought about it more the more I realized that was way too much to spend for them to weld two pieces together. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a woman or if they are just woefully over priced. I appreciate how quick they were to diagnose and fix the problem that is why I gave them two stars. But I really feel like I got ripped off with the cost.

  • If I could give a them a zero star rating, I would. In addition to an oil change, I requested a check on a rear tire that was losing air, plus a tire rotation. The establishment blatantly lied about performing my request, let alone filling my tires with air to equal capacity. I am certain of this for two reasons- my dashboard computer AND my tire being flat the next morning. The EXACT same tire that I had asked them to check!! This behavior is completely unacceptable. If this had been done and not signed off by the manager, I might not be as upset as I am about this entire situation. It makes me question whether or not if it was because I was a woman that they thought that they could get away with what they did? Well, regardless of whether or not I was a man OR a woman, they ought to be thankful that nothing happened to me or my children due to the fact that they lied about the work performed on my vehicle. This is inexcusable.

  • These guys were GREAT! I was quoted $579 at Hyundai dealer in Danbury and told my car's flex pipe and straps had to be replaced and that they were so rusty, it would take longer to do the job. Mavis Tires told me a week before that the metallic rattle I was hearing was caused by the strap that help the flex pipe - rusty and ready to fall off. They said this repair would involve welding, which they did not do. They recommended Monroe Muffler. I called MM and asked what a new flex pipe and strap(s) would cost and was told $150-$200. When I took the car to MM, they chacked the car and called me out to see the flex pipe for mself. The worker showed me there was no problem with the flex pipe - no leaks, no cracks and no extreme rust except for the strap. Then they told me they could replace the strap for $20. Woo hoo!!!!! I am recommending Monroe Muffler to everyone I know. Thanks!

Which just goes to show that Monroe Muffler has so many hidden tricks in there ads than any other place of business. Although the kid rather disbate this statenunf we all do it. I hate to tell you living in New Milford Ct I've gotten to use most every Auto business in the sourounding Townes and I e found MONROE MUFFLER has the most hidden small print in everything they offer not that it matters I will. Ever return to this place of business because he'd rather debate the practices or other business then tend to the customer in front of him. Yo go boy!!!

  • Blew out a tire late Saturday afternoon. Had a busy Sunday booked with family from out of town and a crazy work week upcoming. Scheduled a tentative appointment for Sunday and crossed my fingers. Not only did they squeeze me in on Sunday, found me new tires on sale and got an oil change to boot. Able to drop the car, pay over the phone and pick the car up after hours.   • Had an oil change. The guy at front desk offered a bunch of stuff and said it was all included in the price ($24,99) but it would be 30 more minutes to have everything done. The mechanical finally came and had my car for maybe 10 minutes. And I ended up paying $32 and change. I mean, I don't know much about cars but there's a little difference between 10 and 30 min and $25 to $30. And the way they treat you is just weird, I was used to better quality of service.

  • I went in to have snow tires removed and all season tires mounted. Everything went off without a hitch. As requested they marked the location of all my snow tires so I can properly rotate them next season and wrapped each tire up in a bag to keep my car clean. No issues whatsoever since then.

  • I first went here to check a rattle in my exhaust, the guy there tap welded it for me free of charge because i was in a rush and they were closing, I told him ill be back to get it replaced when i can, he was cool with it, i appreciated it, that rattle was driving me nuts! i have bean back to get my oil changed , no problems, they do alot right in front of you to, big window to watch them work, i will use them from now on.

  • I went for a oil change, they have no customer service. In the waiting area, I sat there listening to the people that work there personal problems and everything bad they use to do in the past and present. While that was going on the guy that was doing the oil change kept on stopping to engage in several conversations while looking at my husband and I through the window every 5 seconds. When he finally finished, we asked if everything was going on with the car. The only thing he said was that he would print out sheet of how much everything would cost if I want to fix something. But never said what the things was wrong, he did not want to explain anything.

The men at this location in New Milford Ct also help me to find a very good Auto Body Shop to help me. To get my door fix thanks to these men that Auto Body Shop help me to get my Ford Escape fix by the other insurance company if I had to do it myself to talk to that insurance company I wouldn't get my Ford Escape back for two months now my Ford will be coming back sooner Thank You for helping me
