  • My husband had my brand new tires put on and balanced here a few weeks ago. I barely drive my car as my work is only a couple miles away. About 2 weeks after I noticed my tires were not balanced correctly when I jumped on the highway. Next thing know I hear a scraping noise when my tires are spinning. We make an appointment with Monro to have them fix the balance issue. They REFUSE to fix it. The only way would be to repay for a mount and balance that they already screwed up once.

  • I was able to get in the next day for an oil change before I headed out of town for vacation with my little ones. I asked them to check the brakes while I was there because I heard grinding the day before and I wanted it checked out before I left. They were very accommodating to that and I was only charged for the oil change. I know other places would have charged just to look under the hood for something. I thought it would have taken a shorter amount of time for the oil change but I was there for almost 2 hours with my kids. Thank goodness they were able to entertain themselves!!! Overall, I would definitely recommend this company and it's services.

  • 1st time I visited this store because my car muffler/exhaust making noise,so manager Migul look at it and suggested that two flex pipe need to replace and I said OK,but after that it was still making noise.than I visited same location again that my car muffler is still making noise,than he look at it again and could not find out any leak and he suggested that need to do "smoke test",which they don't have tester so he suggested me to go to Glastonbury or Vernon location,than I decided to go Vernon location,when I went over there,manager told me that it gone a cost me to test and I surprised,because Migul told me there is no cost to me,than Vernon manager gave me some discount ,and after doing smoke leak test,he find out the leak ,Than I came back to Manchester location to get it fix and I took appointment on07/17/2017 at 12:30 noon,when I came on my appointment day/time he gave me new estimate,after some request he gave me about $50.00 discount{$20.00 for 1st visit Miscellaneous charges+$30.00 for smoke leak test adjustments},than about an hour waiting he said he is out of welding rods so he reschedule appointment for 07/18/2017 & he told me that he will give me some discount tomorrow,but he did not gave me any discount,even I talk to district manager 860-215-0570,he did not help either.

  • My car had been acting up for a while. It was only when my car started releasing smoke that I decided to take it in. The thing was I wasn't sure of many good places in the area, so I asked my mother. She referred me to Monro Muffler/ Brake & Service in Manchester. Best decision I could've ever made. The manager, Miguel and his crew, went above and beyond when servicing my car. In a matter of a two days the issue was pinpointed and resolved. I would definitely recommend this location. Great quality service and reasonable prices for the job! Personally, would return to this location for any future problems as I trust that the job will get done in a timely manner and the quality will be top notch.

  • I want to give a big Thanks to Miguel from the Manchester location.This morning I called the store to get an oil change. Knowing that it might not be possible with such little time but I did. I didnt go to much into detail but i explained that i needed to take an emergency trip out of state and that i was in desperate need of an oil change. Mr. Miguel did not ask any questions he just said no problem come in an we'll get it done and he did just that! I came got in and was right out!!Thank you again Miguel.   • I went to Monroe again for some muffler/exhaust pipe work and a leaky tire. Once again, Miguel totally fixed everything, showed me what was wrong while the car was on the lift, so I know I wasn't getting ripped off (but at this point I'm never worried about that with Miguel) and he always gives me an extremely fair price on everything! I had a million little questions on other little quirks my car has been having and he answered every one. He even quoted me pricing on any of it in the event I want it fixed in the future and I got an appointment literally the very next morning after calling to make the initial appointment. I can't say enough about this place and more specifically Miguel who runs it as I know it didn't have the best rep a few years ago. I'll always have a place I can trust when it comes to car issues/maintenance and that's hard to find these days!!

  • Scheduled an appointment days earlier for tires and also to have brakes check. Appointment time was at 11:30am. After a couple of hours I called for an update. tires were not in stock. Normally you would be given an alternate tire for similar price when this happens. (This option was not offered). There was a lot of work needed on brakes, work was scheduled to be completed by 6pm. Pick up was closer to 7p. Left with no tires and a $987 bill. I have been to other Monroe locations in and had great service.. this one was not one of them.

  • I have nothing but great things to say about Miguel and his awesome team. It began couple of years ago when I was experiencing brake problems. I had NO clue as to what was going on, so I took my jeep to the dealership in East Hartford. After they examined it they told me it would cost $1200 to repair. I told them to patch it back up because I don't have that kind of money, I'll get it fixed somewhere else. I immediately called Monroe in Manchester,CT. After explaining my dilemma they asked me to bring in my truck they'd take a look at it. I did, and to my Amazement the cost to fix the problem was Far Less than what the dealership was going to charge me. Since that experience I've gone to see Miguel and his team for a set of New tires and my ALL my oil changes. My most recent visit Monroe was on 3/30/17 for an oil change. I love these guys. They're always very professional and I wouldn't go anywhere else. (unless they couldn't fix the problem) Loyal customer forever. I also referred family, friends and colleagues to go see Miguel and his team for any car problems and oil changes. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work!
