  • I appreciate being treated with respect, and these guys are super. The service was completed and for a reasonable fee. They didn't try to upsell me with a bunch of stuff I didn't need. They showed me a couple things my car could use, and when I said I would do it myself, there was no sales pressure. I have been trying to find a reasonable mechanic, this will be my new go-to!

  • The super nice man who did my oil change apologized upon returning my car for moving my seat! I not only appreciated the warning, but the time he took to give me the little reminder to readjust before I started driving :) He also put the floor mats in (which I ended up leaving in for the day since it was raining). Him and the man at the desk were both very friendly and attentive to my questions and concerns. I’m very impressed!

  • I'm not happy with my experience at Munro muffler and breaks. I came in to get my daughters oil changed on her 2013 jeep. I talked with the man behind the counter about what it be synthetic or not and he said all cars after 2000 and something Were synthetic oil. I asked him how much it cost and he around $79. I came back to pick up the car and he told me the cost was $29 for a moment I was excited but then I asked him did you do synthetic he said no as I did not tell him to and when they are not told the pay do what is recommended. I said we talked about synthetic... Anyway he was nice enough but a little flip about the thing. The next day was Sunday and the shop was closed. I could not wait till Monday so I had it changed at another place... Sorry but I won't be back

  • I've been going to Monroe in Cheshire CT for years (15+), but I've had it! Managers are constantly changing and the current set of mechanics, if that's what you call them are pretty poor. Just had the oil changed in my 07 Accord which I had just washed and waxed. Oily foot prints on the driver side carpet, greasy finger prints on the hood a driver side door and oil spilled on the valve cover around the filler. Took a couple of days for the smell of burnt oil to clear. Took pictures of all. Also had the tires rotated, but no mention of having the lug nuts re-torqued after a couple of miles. Did it my self. This on top of having been talked into a set of Kelly tires for my other 2012 Accord which I purchased in the early spring which are the roughest, loudest tires I have ever owned. Won't be going back!!!

  • They never rotated my tires but had me sign off on that they did. Assistant manager didn't know how to run the store and take care of customers. Did not have a appointment for a oil change and had to wait 25 mins while a tech sat around on his phone until he pulled my car in. Meanwhile working on my car the tech was still on his phone. Who wants that kind of work? Who knows if he did it right. I needed new tires and his whole sales pitch made me want to run out the door. This is how much it is with out explaneing anything to me. I also had a 9.99$ coupon for a oil change. The assistant manager told me I couldn't use it because you need the drive card. Never once explained to me what a drive card was just walked about. I know next time to ether go to Valvoline or the dealer because then you know you will be treated right .

Two weeks later took second car (204 Toyota camry) with same coupon and paid $72. When I questioned ity I was told it was taxes. Apparently taxes are different based upon car ????????
