  • I'll start with the good (great): I was able to call; get through to a person immediately; speak with a very kind gentleman named Mark to make an appointment for the next day, first thing in the morning; take the car in that morning and have a quote for work within a couple of hours; and have the car back that day, after every mechanical component of front brake system was replaced. That's great. It was easily the most straightforward, painless auto service experience I've had in a while. A+. The bad: I needed to have rotors, pads, AND CALIPERS replaced on my 2008 Ford Focus. I felt as if the off-the-shelf prices for most of these parts were way higher than I had expected. They were certainly around OEM price. After the sticker shock, I'm hoping they're actually OEM parts. I believe the pricing/markup for these mechanical components needs reviewing. I understand that there are profits to be made, but when I go to AutoZone, I have at least a couple pricing options available for components. Perhaps Monro should offer the same... It really was a lot of money for parts for the front brakes of an economy car.

  • Went for an oil change and tire rotation 2 days before leaving for 800 mile trip. The garage never said a word about anything being wrong in the front end. Got to North Carolina after fighting the car while braking in curves to have my son replace both outer tie rod ends while we were visiting. It started acting up as soon as we started our trip. Figured if it was in the garage on tuesday, it went from the garage to home and was parked until we left on thursday. I was not happy and will not be returning to that garage again.

  • The serpentine belt was squealing. I was told the air conditioning compressor was shot and the estimate came in around $1487.00. I took it to another repair shop to find out it only needed a new belt and was a little low on refrigerant. The total repair was $148.85 and the car has been fine since.

  • A couple weeks ago I went in for a routine oil change... and came out with a full rear brake replacement, out of necessity. Before the work began, the manager showed me the difference between my front and rear brakes, and shared with me what he believed his team could do to spare my calipers and safely save myself some expense. He also applied a couple specials to my overall bill to take away some of the sting because it was steep. He was overly accommodating, they took their time to do the job well, and he followed up with me a couple days later to make sure everything was still okay. I appreciated that he helped me prioritize the work that needed to be completed and respected my financial situation. I will return to this store because it's run with integrity.

  • I took my 2008 Silverado in for an oil change and tire rotation. I picked my truck up and when I got home I noticed that it appeared that my tires did not get rotated. The truck has drum rear and disc front brakes. My rear alloy wheels are always very shiny and clean while the front rims are always dirty from disc brake dust. The shiny wheels were still on the rear. I called back and asked the man if they rotate side to side or front to back? He told me front to back and he asked the mechanic if the wheels were rotated and he said yes. If that was the case, then my shiny wheels would now be on the front and the dirty ones would be on the back. If that's how things get done, then I'll probably find some other shop that can do the complete task.

  • On 2/21/17 I had a new resonator and pipes installed on my 2006 Audi...and at that time I also had an oil change. The exhaust installation was fine, I was told to bring my car back the next day to assure my lug nuts were tight, I did...The paper work I had showed my tires were rotated, I felt they were not, I seen no hand prints on the rims, the rims were dirty to show prints, when I brought my car back to have the lug nuts tighten, the worker came out and said I have to get another tool to take the caps off the nuts, he had needle nose pliers in his hand, I told him there was a special tool to take those caps off, and that tool is in my trunk, that tool was never used the previous day and I told the worker, these tires were never rotated, he agreed. I want to know why? Then I questioned if my oil was even changed. The employees were very polite and helpful...the problem I have is saying you do work that wasn't done...now trust becomes a issue. I plan on using your service again, but I will be very alert of any work that is done...Thank you.
