  • I went in for a brake inspection after my brake warning light came on. After checking my brakes, they told me everything was fine and that it was just a sensor error and the check was a courtesy inspection. How great and honest was that? I totally recommend this place!

  • Mike Damanski is an outstanding person. The best thing I can say is that he consistently goes above and beyond to provide me great service, fixing things that need to get done, telling me about things I can save money on and doing everything he can to assure that I am a satisfied customer and that my family and I are safe in our vehicle. He is a hands on manager who looks at anything with my vehicle that could be fixed. I gladly refer folks to this store. In my opinion, Monroe is fortunate to have him working here!

  • This is the third time I came back to Monro for the same issue/issues spawning from work done to the car and still the check engine light is on from a previous visit and not sure if an oil change was done. Also a new rattle began under the chassis, which turns out is the AC compressor, after having transmission fluid flush. I had to pay for rotors again after caliper was reman-ed but ended up breaking fully and tore up brand new rotors.

  • When getting a routine oil change for my car I was greeted by a manager who was nice, helpful, and easy to talk to. I was very satisfied with the job and paid for it promptly but during my departure from the garage I forgot my debit card on the store counter. The manager saw that I had left my card and quickly called to let me know that he had it and would hold on to it until I came back for it. That act of kindness was something I didn't expect and I truly appreciated it, the manager is a good person and in my mind exemplifies great service.

  • Make an appointment and you'll be happy! Walked in during my lunch and it was super busy, so I called to make an appointment. The manager Mike was very helpful and got me in later that day. Long story short, it took a little longer than expected, but I would prefer to wait on quality work then to just throw something on that wasn't the correct thing. This is an honest, neighborhood shop. Mike cares about his staff and his customers, and should be recognized for going above and beyond what is expected! Excellent service!

  • I had my car towed to the Dewitt NY Store shortly before closing time with two flat tires and a stripped out lug nut. There was only one mechanic, James Pagan, working and he was very busy. I thought I was going to have to walk home in the rain, but eh new store manager, Zach Atkinson did all he could to help me out. Thanks to the heard work of these two gentlemen I was able to drive home that night!

  • Last week, I got a flat tire while driving on I-81. I had previously had my car serviced at Monroe, so I decided to come back to them to get the tire changed. The technician was very pleasant and helpful. After determining that my flat tire was unusable, he talked me through my options for a new tire and elected to sell me a great tire for a lesser tire's price. The installation took some time, which was expected. The prices were cheap and the tire has held up with no problems. They were short-staffed while I was getting my car serviced, so my only "complaint" would be it took longer than usual to service my car.
