  • My 2004 Ford E-150 van has never run smoother! I had previously experienced ignition problems from having my van serviced by a local mechanic. Ryan, the store manager quickly pointed out the problems, and took corrective action replacing 3 coils, and performing full maintenance to fuel system, and injectors. I am very happy with this location, and I plan on having my other vehicle serviced at this location.

  • I brought my car in because I'd been hearing a horrible grinding noise for several months when braking. I'd taken it to 2 different places: my normal auto repair shop and a local dealership. Both said they didn't hear the noise. Several friends riding in the car with me would often comment, so I knew I wasn't making it up. I finally decided to take it to Monro. Though the first technician didn't hear anything, the owner/manager took it out again and drove it for a while and began to hear the grinding, discovering my rotors needed to be replaced, which is what I thought all along. He replaced them, and what do you know, the grinding noise has stopped! THANK YOU SO MUCH for not brushing me off and working to fix it!

  • Every time I visit this location I have a great experience. The last time I had work done here my truck battery was dead and I could not get it to the shop. The Employee Brandon assured me I could show up any time and they would change the battery for me. He was very happy, eccentric and made me laugh every time we spoke. And he got the job done as promised !

I was able to make the appointment that day of and take my car in during my lunch break. They were quick, friendly and the facility was clean while I waited in their waiting room.   • I brought my vehicle in for a state inspection. Not only was I able to make a same day appointment (my dealership had me waiting for almost 2 weeks to get me in) but I was in and out in less than half an hour! Both of the young men working were friendly and polite. When the mechanic brought my car out, he parked it right by the overhang of the door since it was pouring out. That way I didn't get soaked, very sweet!!

  • I have been going to Monro locations for about seven (7) to eight (8) years now and have found that most of them are really good at explaining and giving fair prices and estimates. The Grand Island location however, goes above and beyond that! I have only been going there for a little over a year now but they have treated me and my girlfriend very well! Ryan and the staff there work very hard to get myself and fellow customers proper information and realistic pricing. They do their jobs well and should be highly commended!

  • I went for an oil change and new windshield wipers. Service was quick and I left feeling good about it. The next day it was pouring rain & I went to use my wipers and they missed a whole section of my windshield. I drove to the store & arrived at 9:05 but it wasn't open(hours 9-5) I waited for about 10 min. I noticed another car waiting (an employee) that said nothing to me about why the store wasn't open. I left then called 25 min later & got the manager on the phone. I explained the situation and he stated he got in an accident on the way to work which is why they were late opening. I stated I was glad he was OK but I was upset with my experience. I got wipers there even though I knew I would overpay because I wanted convenience but had already been there twice and there was nothing convenient about it. The manager said I could come back and he would look at what was wrong because no one ever complained about the wipers and put new wipers on if it was needed. He stated maybe I got a faulty wiper. I was very angry. I had been twice. Now I had to go back again. The convenience I paid for was gone and now I had just severely overpriced wipers. When I stated this the manager raised his voice and stated, "so I'm hearing that you are just upset with the price." Very angry now I again explained that I was not mad at the price the day before because I thought I was getting convenience but now there was no convenience therefore the price upset me. I asked if I could just get a refund so I could just buy my own wipers for a better price. I was told he could not give a refund & I had to call the 1800 number for that. I asked if it was open on Sundays. I was told yes. I called. Not open on Sunday. Now my anger had risen even more. I called store back and was told I could only get a refund from 1800 number but I needed wipers that day as it was pouring. At this point I had no choice but to go back. Manager did give better wipers and apologized but I don't think I'll go back.
