  • I bought a tire less than a year ago and it got a flat. I brought it in to be repaired/replaced and the guy who serviced me was very rude. I waited just about 2 hours just for him to sell me a tire and then he didn't even put it on my car! He told me I would have to wait another hour just to put the tire on. I've never been to a Monroe that sells you a tire and doesn't put it on. Waste of money.

  • I've gone to this Monro Muffler a couple times now. The first time was for an oil change and the guys were super nice and friendly, and really worked with my schedule. Today I went in to get my headlight replaced in between work and lab, and I was thinking that I was gonna have to sit there for 3 hours while they fixed it and that I might even have to Uber my way back to campus if it wasn't done in time. But instead, Mark (the manager) took a look at my car immediately even though they were completely booked, easily fixed the wiring issue that had caused me to need to replace my light 3 times over the last year, and replaced the light in less than five minutes. I kid you not. This is the best service I have ever received. As long as I'm in Buffalo, I'll be using this Monro Muffler for all my car needs.

  • I have been going to Monroe all my life for various things, so i took my Jeep there when it needed a muffler. When i came to pick it up, it still sounded loud. I went back in and told the manager, who pretended to be "nice" but was annoyed in reality. He went back out to my Jeep and started it up in the parking lot and said "yes, something is wrong i will pull it back in to check". The guys apparently did not cut the pipe down. So they "fixed" it and i left. A few weeks later my Jeep still sounds like it had nothing done to it even thought they replaced the entire muffler & pipe. It was still loud and my husband said to take it back in. I made an appointment and the manager said there was absolutely nothing wrong and still was apparently "annoyed" although trying to "seem" nice. Its still loud and something is wrong. I will NEVER go here again and will tell anyone else never to go here. I will be taking to my Jeep dealer and will have them check it out where my warranty is and have them tell me.

  • I brought my '06 Scion xA in to get a NYS Inspection done. Granted it took a couple hours (as there were limited technicians on hand that day), but I thoroughly appreciated the Manager letting me know that my brake pads and rotors will need to be replaced down the line. That was useful information that I'm not always informed of when I get service done.

  • I called ahead of time to tell them I was coming in. They said they weren't busy but I ended up waiting over an hour. The front desk man is obnoxiously rude. He tries to sell you services that arent a nessasity. He cut me off while I was talking several times. I had a coupon and he told me that the coupon only can be applied if I had the credit card, I said the coupon said it can be applied without the card. He said well you still have to apply for the c. Card. It said that no where on the coupon. He gave me a price without coupon and when it came time to check out he said a different price

  • I purchased tires upon recommendation after receiving an oil change. I came back about a month later to get 2 more tires and the price was almost $100 more. The answer I got from the mechanic was "tire prices change all the time." Thats never been my experience in all the times I've had to buy tires. It felt as though I was being tsken advantage of, I could be wrong but I won't be back.
